Hello...This is my first post on here so I am still figuring out how things work.

My family and will be going to Disney for 1 day in May of 2019. We have been to Disney several times and can generally move through the parks quickly if we need to. Here is our plan:

Arrive at AK ~ 7:30 am
RD FOP then leave AK

Head to HS - use first 3 FP here
Do Toy Story Land (all 3 rides and lunch)
M&M RRR (hoping it is open!)
ToT and Rock n Roll

Head to MK - use more FP
Monsters Inc, Space Mtn, Pirates, Splash Mtn, BTM, Philharmagic, 7DMT
Happily Ever After

Based on past park hours for the day that we are going (2nd Friday in May), we are assuming AK will open at 9 and MK will close at 10. We aren't staying on site so no EMH and will be travelling by car. Have done everything on our list except TSL and M&M RRR (obviously).

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions for the trip? We have never traveled by car at Disney World and also have never been there in May.

Thanks!

This is a really aggressive plan but as long as you are willing to skip a few things if necessary and running from one thing to the next - you'll be OK.

TSL is very popular now and the SDD is a long wait if you can't get a FP. TSM is a little better now that SDD has opened but the wait times can still pack on. Alien Saucers is the lowest wait of the 3. No telling what M&MRRR will be light but being newer at the time - I'd expect it to be high. On a side note, with the FPs, you can only FP 1 of the TSL rides as they are currently all in the same tier.

For MK, at best, I think you'll only be able to squeeze one for FP out of the system ( mayyyybe 2 ).

You'll pay parking at the 1st park and I think you can keep the receipt and show it at the next park.

Something else I don't think you have taken into consideration is the vast side of WDW. It's easy enough to get around but like most 'cities' it has traffic congestion and road construction. On a good day, from the MK to AK with traffic and lights, it can easily take 25 minutes from parking lot to parking lot.

My advice would be to expect to not finish your agenda.

I also suggest becoming an expert at FP refreshing to try to get extra attractions. Go in as small a group as possible to increase your odds.

Bring food to eat in line as you will be spending a lot of time in line and won't have time to stop for food.

Its nice to have a plan, but don't feel bad if you don't make it.

First welcome to the board, second your plan is very aggressive and I do not believe you will be able to get everything you want. You have to remember no matter how early you get to Animal Kingdom about 80% of the crowd will head to Pandora. That's why my family always heads in the opposite direction. We get 3 to4 rides in early with little to no wait. Hollywood Studios will also be very busy Toy Story Land has not really reduced the stress on the park much, I really thing TSL will help reduce the stress on Star Wars once it opens. I have noticed a tendency for Rock and Roll's lines to get very long, faster than some of the other rides. Most of your MK is easily doable but watch for fast passes of Splash Mountain and Space Mountain where you might get slowed down.
