Was actually there on Labor Day itself and while a bit busy, not crazy or anything! Things were under an hour! I went with friends to do Indy one last time since it was closing that day and that was 40 mins all day!
Anyway, was there on Thursday and the parks were pretty dead! I stayed at DCA mostly and while CL was a bit busy, it was still not bad at all. In fact RSR was 45 mins all afternoon. That was the lowest I seen it ever, especially at that hour! It climbed to 90 mins later, but I think because DL closed at 5 so a lot of people went there when that park closed! But I did SR and hit it 3 times in one day! Everything else was about 20 mins or less! Things like TOT, BTM, GRR, Calif Screaming, when it was working, was under 15 mins most of the day!
Went back just this past Saturday! Slightly less busy than Labor Day, but everything average at best. RSR was definitely busier, anywhere from 60-90 mins, but no more than that all day. All the other E tickets were 30-45 mins. Soaring was much busier for some reason, like 60+ mins! Did Luigis for the second time total, a 20 min wait!
I assume things will pick up slightly when the Halloween stuff start, but the weekdays will be dead regardless. There is a reason it closes at 8 p.m. The parks really are dead at this time of year. Even with the additions and hoopla, they are pretty empty now on non-weekends.
