I was at Michael's Crafts on Christmas Eve, and most of their Christmas stuff was already 70% off. I got a couple rolls of wrapping paper for 1.19 each!

I stopped at CVS this morning, and in addition to the obvious "Christmas candy 50%" deals, they also had the toys/gifts they put out specifically for Christmas at 50%. The signs weren't up yet (used the price checker) so there was a pretty good selection.

Got a candy crane ($10), a magic set ($5), an air hockey novelty ($5), and a "clapper" (for my one office light that's hard to reach) ($11).

I'm hoping to hit some of the other less-obvious stores later in the day. One year I scored HUGE at the grocery store, which had a lot of ok items for $10 that went to $5 on the 26th-- nothing amazing, but fantastic to keep for basket stuffers and for DDs to give as birthday party gifts...

It's snowing here (a surprise, doesn't usually happen here until late January), so I'm hoping that will keep the other shoppers home and there will still be stuff available later in the day...

So dish! What else are y'all seeing out there?

Already bought my Kindle Fire on Sunday. $25 off at Office Depot. Didn't think I could do better than that. However, should have waited to order the cover. It's on order at Amazon; now I see that they are 40% off at places. And I still have to wait until at least Saturday to get it. (Right now, it's in Martinsburg, WV..about a six hour drive from here.)

Does anyone know of any nice towel sales. Not cheap ones, but nice ones. DH wants to replace a lot of our towels.

Thanks to this thread, I spent $100 last night online shopping at Sephora and Frys! I got 2 late Christmas gifts and 2 presents for me!!

I got out and went to Walmart this morning at 5 am for 50% off Christmas wrapping paper and bows. I scored enough cute wrapping paper and bows to last me a few years. Other than that I didn't buy anything else.

I didn't see anything there on sale besides the Christmas clearance stuff.

Puma (online) is having a great sale. I got a pair of running shoes for me and a pair of soccer cleats for DH for less than $70!

What about buying another at 40% and then returning the one from Amazon when it arrives? (Don't forget to factor in any shipping charges to see if it's worth it.)

Mine is simple. I'm going to the mall to get a Lang calendar 1/2 off. Other than that, I have enough cute paper that I've picked up for 90% off at Target over the last few years to last me a lifetime.

We have completely re-stocked our linen closet with matching bath towels, hand towels, and washrags over the past year. We've used coupons + Kohl's cash at Kohl's. The "Simply Vera Wang" towels are wonderful! Kohl's has them on sale right now, plus you can get 15% off any order, or 20% off $100 with promo codes "Celebrate" or "Cheers." I'm not sure what's going on IN store, or if you could have them shipped to the store for pick up? I've just always gone in-person. There are probably other good deals out there, but we have been completely satisfied with the Simply Vera towels
