The tooth fairy found us at WDW!! DC2 was just beside herself with joy. She had been afraid that the tooth fairy would not find her! She decided that Tinkerbelle had something to do with all this. What a priceless memory! Up early and drove to AK. Had to wait awhile in line and was amused by the talking tree. Just about everyone I met on this day was from FL and using their passes before they expired. Beware of weekend crowds in Sept!!! We were really wanting to see Lion King on this, our last day. Lion King is DC2s all-time favorite Disney movie. It was supposed to reopen today from the refurbishment. Signs outside the park said the show was still closed and CMs I asked said it was closed. Once we were in the park, I kept asking and sure enough, I was told first show was at 10:00. HOORAY!! Once we got home, I learned from these boards that first show was originally scheduled for 2:00, but they decided to start early. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! We went straight there and were among the first in line. This show was just wonderful and one of the highlights of the trip. Since we were among the first in, we got a front row seat and DC2 got to participate in the show!! Magic Disney moment! We then hit Dinoland and rode TriceraTop Spin and Primeval Whirl. PW turned out to be DC2s favorite ride (after Splash Mountain) and we rode 3 times! Thank goodness the lines were minimal. We then grabbed a bite at McDonalds and hit the Boneyard. The heat and humidity were really getting to us and we left the park. It was really HOT!!! Stopped by Blizzard Beach to pick up the purloined bag. They had already shipped it back home. How nice of Disney to ship us their own towels at their expense!! We then hit DTD for some last minute shopping. Stopped by the Rainforest and were seated right away. Just took in the atmosphere and ordered a Volcano!! Delish! Then DC2 played in the fountain. She had a ball even though it started raining. It only rained on us twice all week and both times we were at DTD. I dont see how the money gods could have been displeased after all the money we were spending! Then back to the cabin. We had originally planned to hit MK for Spectro to end our trip on a high note, but we were just too tired to care. We got packed up--quite a chore--and turned in early for the trip home. Hard to believe the magical trip was over!
