Up early once again and we head off to Animal Kingdom. For the first time we actually took our time walking up the path to look at…who would think…ANIMALS! We then made it to the bridge where the photographers had us do the picture in front of the tree of life. From there we headed to our favorite, “It’s Tough to be a Bug”. Anthony loves the stink bug. We have 9:50 ressies at Breakfastasaurus so as hubby heads to check-in I head over to Dinosaur to get fastpass. Now this has never happened, our table was ready! We sat on the left side this time. We’d always been on the right. Breakfast was very good and the characters were wonderful. This is my favorite character breakfast. From here we head out to Dinosaur. We did not need fastpass the wait was 15 min. But still it was nice. We then headed to the Dig Site and tried to peek over the fence to see how the construction was going.

We’re now in the Dig Site and I’ve lost site of AAA so I try to get him on the walkie talkie. Well a woman’s voice is on it. I figure oh we crossed frequencies until I hear “Hi this is a Cast Member I found this on the ground” OH NO WHERE IS ANTHONY! You can imagine the visual I had. Well he had dropped it while climbing and was fine. He then wanted to go uncover some bones. So we did. Now this is the great thing. We were kind of hot so we headed to the Annual Pass Passholder Lounge. Animal Kingdom is the only park that has it. This is worth the price of the AP. First there is shade, fans, games, puzzles, coloring stuff and very comfortable chairs. Then there is COLD spring water. And the best part is when the CM said “I can give you a fast pass for whatever time you like and whatever ride you want!” WOW We spent a good hour in there just hanging out. I helped Anthony with a puzzle. Then I left the boys and went to look at our picture which came out very nice. Bought it! After I came back we headed off to the Safari. Now it is about 11:30 and I didn’t think there would be many animals. Boy was I wrong. We saw the most we’ve ever seen. I love this ride because you just don’t know what you will see! After this we’re ready to head back. So off we go but guess who we see at the entrance “Mushu” Well we’ve never seen him in the parks. So Anthony and I get in line. He had a ball with him. Off to the tram, our car and BWV to rest!

Tonite, DH and I have ps at Narcoosee’s and Anthony is going to the Harbor Club. At 6p we head to the Harbor Club and guess what???? He’s the only one for the night. Boy, he was lovin’ it. We signed him in and DH and I drove off to Narcoosee’s. This was our first time and it was very good, however, I didn’t love it as much as Calif. Grill. We had a very nice dinner. Started with a wonderful lobster and corn bisque, to die for. We then had a fish dish that was ok. Now dessert was sinful, quite honestly I remember it was great but I can’t remember what we had. After dinner we went to see the new pool, but they had closed for the nite. We poked around the shops in the GF and eventually headed back to get Anthony.

After we picked up Anthony we walked the Boardwalk. This is why I love this area. We played some games. I helped Anthony and he won the water gun game. Then we did the flip the lobster into the pot game. We were laughing so hard. I couldn’t believe it…Anthony got TWO it. I totally over shot the pot and wound up almost over to the other grill and DH didn’t do too well!

It’s now late. We’re checking out tomorrow so time to go do the last of the laundry and start packing…nite.

Cora! An annual passholder's lounge?!!!! Nobody told us about this last week when we were there sweating our bisquits off, or last year for that matter! BOY I wish I knew about it, lol. Where is it exactly?? I plan on taking full advantage of this when we go back in October, even though it won't be as hot, but I would still love to see it!

Enjoying your report thanks!

Lori,
Hate to break it too you but it closes I think Sept 10, unless they extend it. There is a sign, like a sandwich board, that says Passholder Lounge just across from the exit to It's Tough to be a Bug. Or you can cut through Flame Tree BBQ to get to it when you come over from Dino-Land, although I don't recall there being a sign on that side until you actually get to the lounge.

lol, we were in that vicinity dying of the heat so we went to flame tree bbq for a drink and to sit down in the shade, had I only known!

Thanks for the info!
