I got up before everyone else - sang in the shower and headed over to BCV to see about early check in or at least get it all set up so I could call and check when my room would be ready. To my surprise my room was ready but not what I requested. They gave me a room with a view of EPCOT - and the CM told me that there was a notation that said - "Not to be moved". Hmmmm. I had asked for pool side but okay, I'll go with it. Went up and checked the room - it was really nice! Walked past a small crowd looking down into the canal - an alligator was posing for pictures or so it seemed. Went back to OKW and woke everyone up - time to pack up the car and drive over - the room is ready!
Got all the stuff into the room quickly and headed out to catch a bus for MK - I was to pose in front of the castle with my hat that my sis had made up for me to wear on my big day. The kids were up to something - a lot of whispering going on. Stopped by City Hall to get my button and attached it to my hat. I had planned only to strike a few poses at the MK when the kids told me that I would not be allowed to leave! Now I'm nervous! We did some of my favorite rides and then my daughter said we had a special place to see the parade. Met a few CMs who were helping my family plan a special day for me - special seating for the parade and front of the line passes and dinner in the castle. Didn't expect any of this. Wow - never ate in the castle! We did a few more rides - Jungle Cruise with a chorus of Happy Bday. Hit Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan and Buzz before heading over to the castle. Great service and yummy food - not to mention that we got to see some of MNSSHP on our way out of the park that night. Took the monorail back to EPCOT and walked thru to the BCV - balloons and cake and fireworks finished off the night. While sitting on the balcony and talking with my son, there was a shooting star - I told my ds that my dad had just flown by to say happy bday to me and that is how I felt when I saw that star! With all of the hoopla over, I decided to head down to the hot tub to relax and unwind after a very full day!
