We stayed in bed longer today. We ran out of pastries for the boys so they ate cereal in the room while I made the trek along the grey brick road for coffee. I so enjoy walking through POR in the morning.

Since we were running a little later than usual, the depot was a little more crowded. And yes, like the other days, we just missed our bus. I was hoping that most of these people were going to the Magic Kingdom but no, they had just missed their bus also and were going to Epcot with us.

We got to Epcot around 10:00. Bag check was once again a breeze. We walked over to the Test Track bypassing Spaceship Earth since the line was so long. At 10:30, the standby was 45 minutes and fast pass was already at 3:15. We decided to pass on this ride today and wait until tomorrow since we knew we were coming back.

We went over to Innoventions West and played around for awhile. The kids had a good time on the video games and Joe like the show about the sound systems.

Ice Station Cool was our next stop. Ugh! All flavors were a thumbs down for us, especially Beverly. That's like drinking cough medicine. We all had to get out some gum to get rid of the taste.

The World Showcase was open so we turned our sights on that. On the way the Kristos were about to perform. We stopped for that. How they can bend and stretch like that is beyond me! They were wearing some really cool blue stretch suits and I got a terrific picture with Spaceship Earth in the background. Was appropriate since their masks had huge eyes and gave them an unworldly appearance.

Mexico was our first stop in the Showcase. We went inside in search of the Kidcot Station. Carol wanted to decorate a mask. The shape for Mexico was a pyramid. Joe and James browsed while I watched Carol. It was jam packed in there. I finally convinced Carol that maybe she should color a little on her mask at each station. We rode the ride and wandered around a little more.

Norway was next. The standby time for the boat ride said 20 minutes but it was a little longer. It was a nice ride. Turning you around and having you ride backwards is a nice touch but I'm glad it didn't last very long. I was beginning to get sick. We watched the movie. Very interesting and not very long.

Walking through the stores we finally found the Kidcot Station. Carol colored a little more and got her ship shape added to her mask.

It was time to head back to the resort for our 2:00 reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. We got back to the resort with time to spare. After checking in, we didn't wait long before they called our name. You can hear more about our dinner in my Dining Review on the Restaurant Board but I will tell you that this was a great meal.

After lunch, we walked back to the room to regroup. I went to the car to use our cell phone (Joe had left it there) to call home and say Happy Thanksgiving.

While I was gone, Joe had taken the kids to ride the Water Mice. Carol wanted to drive one but she was too young. In fact, she was too young to ride without an adult but the CM actually working with the boats let her go out with James while the CM working the desk got very upset about it. It all worked out fine and they had a good time.

The kids did not want to go back to Epcot today so since it was dark we decided to go to MGM to see the Osbourne Lights.

We got into the park and near the hat when it began to sprinkle. What? There was no rain in the forecast. It soon stopped and we entered New York Street. Wow, the lights were gorgeous. Now where do we get the glasses? Hey mom! It's snowing! What a neat sight!

We found someone handing out the glasses and put them on. Angels were everywhere there were white lights. It worked on some red lights too. New York Street was so pretty. Some of the windows had lights, Christmas trees, or other Christmas decorations just as if someone really lived there.

We got up to the Osbourne Lights and just stood there. Magnificent! I took a couple of pictures hoping that they would come out. Carol and I got separated from the boys a couple of times and I ended up by myself once because you just couldn't walk through and not just stop and look. If I had been by myself I could have stayed there a lot longer.

We finally left just amazed by what we had seen. The bus line was not quite as long as previously in the week.

Back at our room we ate a pizza that we had picked up at the food court and watched a Who's Line Is It Anyway? marathon.

No lime green ribbons today.

Thanks for posting! Great!
