Well this is a negative report unfortuantely it is a experience i would rather not do aagin.
We get our usual wake up from Goofy, we pack away our toiletries and head to the reception, and empty our locker, we had our fingers crossed we can get on the first VEA shuttle, if not it would be a taxi due to the timing of out flight home.
we manage to get on the bus. we arrive at CDG, we find our way to check in, OMG it is very slow moving, about 6 familes in front of us and it took 40 minutes from joining the queue to check in.
We made our way to the departure lounge, boarding passes checked at travelator/escaltor, we headed upstairs and joined a queue, we showed our passports to a police officer. We were then let through to the departure lounge, First thing was to get chloe some thing to eat, only to see a small counter which offered bakery goods, i found a shop that sold pop and crisps (it was the only thing there for here) I buys a newspaper for paul. He then heads to the duty free shop, and he sees prices for EU and duty free. So i heads off and picks 2 bottles which has 2 prices, i stood in the queue for ages, i got to the front and the cashier says you english, i nod, "no buy, you not buying" I'seemed shocked.
I tells paul who also seemed shocked, we head towards the gate, wow long queue, only 1 person allowed through the x ray machine at a time. 30 mins later we go through, chloe is searched then i got searched. Then all of us had to stay whilst our bags are searched, we bought some pop from the airport it was taking off us.
We checks the screen Gate 56, we head to 56 "East Midlands" no we are going to Durham, lots of people confused, i go and check the boards again Gate 55 this time. The gate opens and a annoucment, not sure what is says but we head through, passes checked, then some sort of confusion happens the staff start to run around passengers were taking off our plane, i'm soooooo confused, whilst getting on the plane i ask the staff "IS THIS THE DURHAM FLIGHT" laughing at the time, they started to laugh and replied "thought you were going to say east midlands".
Basically people were on the wrong plane, they Also said laughing "WELCOME TO CRAZY PARIS"
We were on the right plane, even the stewardess and captain made annoucments to make sure.
We land a little late, we collect our baggage and collect our car and drive home.
Everything unpacked. washed and waiting to be ironed.
The whole trip was okay, they was things that could of been better, but they were things that were better than WDW.
