I jumped off of the Atkins wagon last Sunday. I was so afraid I would gain weight immediately, especially from the water I would need to store the sugars.
BUT, I am happy to report I am down 2 more pounds!!!
I am still eating fairly low carb, (around 100g) but I am eating (or trying to) around 200 calories every two hours. It seems to be really stepping up my metabolism. I was REALLY sweating at the gym.
I was doing this to go into maintenance, but it seems I may not need to!! I am thinking maybe if I do this for a while, then do another round of induction in a month or two, I might get that swoosh you get when you first go on Atkins.
