Day 4 Mousekeeping help needed!

We have done so many split stays of late or long weekends I forget what the norm is on the towels. Are they suppose to hang the new towels or just collect old and leave new somewhere inside?

Good question, sometimes they just leave towels, sometimes towels and consumables, sometimes they hang the towels, a couple of times they didn't collect the dirty towels.

About our own trash and towel experiences. We make sure we stay out of the room the 4th morning and make sure we remove the do not disturb sign. Usually by the time we return for lunch, dirty towels have been taken away, new ones have been hung, toiletries are replenished if needed, dish soap replenished if needed, and fresh kitchen towels. Trash and recycle is taken away, although we will do that if needed in between. We also make sure our dirty towels are piled in a spot on the floor. There is a little card in the bathrooms about being green and if you don't want them to take yours towels you should leave them hanging on the towel bar. I think some people don't notice this card. I've never experienced having my towels left on the table by housekeeping. That is something that should be taken up with housekeeping if it happens.

I'm sorry you are having problems with Mousekeeping. Over the 23 years I've been a member, I've had only a few issues. A handful of times I was skipped. A call to housekeeping fixed the problem. There was also a time that the neighbors helped themselves to the clean towels from the basket. Generally, I've found Mousekeeping at OKW to be good, but as I said, over the years there have been a couple of problems.
