This was our last day at HRH and the last day of our vacation. We relaxed in the room until 11:00 which was check out. Just used the drum express check out service. We decided to head over to the Studios. Did Jimmy Neutron, E.T. Twister and Earthquake all with no wait again. We then left the studios and headed over to the Hard Rock Cafe for lunch. After lunch we headed back to the hotel, I had a car picking us up at 5:00. As we re-entered the lobby, I saw who I thought was Vince Neil from Motley Crue. I asked the bell man if it was him and his response was "No it's just some dork"...well I was not convinced..We had about 45 minutes to kill before the car came so DH wanted to go in the Velvet Lounge for a beer. We were the only ones in there and guess who walks in "Vince Neil". I was correct! He did not speak to us, and we did not bother him, but it was just nice knowing I was not crazy. We used Your Ride to go to the Airport. Old not so nice car, and the driver barley spoke English but she got us to the Airport on time and thats all that matters. Overall great trip and as with every trip to Orlando I could not have done it without the DIS.

Thanks for the trip reports. I would love to read your review of the restaurants you ate at! How cool to see someone famous - How did you know it was him?

I did not realize it was him until I looked at the woman with him. Drop dead gourgus and thats when it dawned on me that he must have been someone famous with the babe, and all of his long hair so I did a double take.

Spidey! You are going with your wife to celebrate her birthday! I know even if J - Lo was there, you wouldn't bat an eye - she would be the most important person in the world to you, right???!!! LOL Seriously, this is why (one of the reasons), I love my hubby so much - He only has eyes for me and makes me feel the most gorgeous girl on earth!

How cool to see someone famous & to know he was staying at the same hotel as you! Do you think the clerk was just trying to protect his privacy or something? I've seen Vince Neil on VH1 and he looks pretty rough so I probably wouldn't have recognized him at all.

I just found out that one of my favorite bands (A Perfect Circle) is going to be playing at the Hard Rock while we're at Universal. I told my husband it would be too cool if they were staying at the same hotel as us (RPR) but I bet they'll be at the HRH if they're staying at Universal because of the whole "image" thing!

I thought that about the bell man as well, but he seemed so uninterested in him, I think he really just thought it was "some dork"...the bartender seemed really star struck so I just don't think the bell man was playing it cool. The bartender told us his room key (you know how you can charge with them) said Johhny Ringo. As far as him looking pretty ruff, he still does LOL...if it would not have been for the woman he was with looking so "above the rest of us mortal females" I would have thought he was just some middle aged man refusing to cut his hair. Dont get me wrong it was exciting to see a celebrity, but it would have been more exciting for me and DH if it were 15 years ago and I still had my aqua net mall hair and DH still had his mullet LOL.
