Sunday, December 22nd

We had an early wake up call at 6:45 to get ready and head over to Animal Kingdom for our 8:10 PS at Donald's Breakfastosaurus. This is the day we hit our only snag with our park hoppers. For some reason the scanner would not read my DS's ticket. This was of course after myself and DH had already gone through the turnstile. They sent my son to guest relations on the other side of the turnstile. The line was quite long so I went to the guest relations office on our side and asked if she could call the restaurant and let them know we were going to be late for our ps. She asked where my son was in the line outside and went out a side door and brought him through the office. She straightened out his park hopper and we were on our way. We checked in for our ps and had our picture taken upon entering. The buffet was very good and I enjoyed seeing Donald. He is shorter than I remembered! We used our breakfast vouchers from Connections and had no trouble. After breakfast we went directly to Dinosaur and there was no wait. Most of the rides and attractions had a minimal wait except for Primeval Whirl which we used fast pass for. This was our first time going on this and we loved it! We also saw Tarzan Rocks for the first time and thought it was great. After the parade we looked around a few shops and took the bus to AKL for our ps at Boma's. This was our first time eating there and was not sure what to expect. While we enjoyed what we did eat I am not sure we will return. I like the prime rib and the pork loin. DH was a little more adventurous than me. He tried a little more of the entrees. I liked a few of the salads and the desserts were very good. The main problem was with the side dishes. I did not care for most of them so I had some macaroni and cheese and spagetti off of the kids buffet area and I was all set. DS tried a few things and liked the desserts also. We are glad we tried it but most likely won't return for dinner. We may try breakfast next time though. I forgot to mention that we went out and looked at the Savannah when we arrived. There were a few animals in the immediate area and it was very interesting. DS enjoyed taking pictures of them. After dinner we went to DD for awhile before heading back to WL. We filled our mugs at Roaring Forks and sat in the lobby for awhile. Also looked at the pin cart a bit.. My DS became interested in pin collecting on this trip so we got him quite a few for his Christmas stocking. After going up to our room and watching some tv we turned in.
Tommorrow: Sleep in and go Christmas shopping at Downtown Disney

I'm glad you got your ticket problem solved and got to breakfast on time. I'd like to try Boma one day. The Prime Rib sounds wonderful!! :)
