Monday 26th Universal Studios
Our Gang was lucky enough thanks to the DisBoards to snag the great deal for the US/IOA mastercard deal for 5 days.
DH again says he will " try" to get the express passes for the rides, again I am shaking my head, this is our 2nd year here and I know the routine. So I head straight for the express pass distribution to get ROTM passes....no such luck...all gone for the day. He got the " see I told you so look" and we proceeded to ride whatever we could.
MIB 1st ride-wait time approx 40 minutes
BTTF 2nd ride-wait time approx 50 minutes
Time for lunch now: Louies Pizza excellent pepperoni pizza the 5 of us shared but trying to get a table in this place at 2 p.m. was almost impossible.
Off to ride Jaws now line was unbelievable for this. if it werent for the fact that Jess & Wayne wanted to ride it, Myself DH, & DS would have long bypassed this ride.
ET next...line was around 30 minutes wait time. Felt good to stand in the line just to cool off, after this we went to Terminator
then next was Twister.
After this it was time for dinner, we had PS for HardRock Cafe
and also had 2 of the CC certificates.
This place was wonderful and our server was absolutely the greatest and most attentive.
Myself and Jess ordered- Southwest Nachos with chicken a plate full and VERY good
DS had the cheese pizza- no complaints from the kid who loves pizza!!
DH- Had the Pig Sandwich- he said it was excellent but whoaa was it spicy!!
Wayne- Had Bruce's Famous Bar-B-Que Ribs he said they were out of this world.
Jess anounced to the server that DH & Myself were celebrating our anniversary and that DS was having a birthday....DS gets Happy Birthday sung to him and what did we get??
We had to stand on the table and have the entire restaurant tell us Happy Anniversary!! After a few bud light drafts ole VaGal does not do too good standing on a table LOL
Dinner is over and we have invaded the HardRock Gift shop to go outside to...........you guessed it........RAIN & THUNDER!! yikkes time to pull out the woody woodpecker ponchos and run to the car I need my beauty sleep so I can hit Island of Adventure tomorrow!!
