Up bright and early ready to go to BB only to find that my sister and her kids had already hit the pool. Well, that clinched it.. my son the water dog see's them in the pool and wines and pleas until I give in. Nobody thinks we actually need to get there early so being outvoted, I go back to bed (aware of the error of their ways).

Finally, I wake back up around 11:30am and they are saying they are ready to start getting ready now....:sad2:. I inform them that it's pointless to try and go at this time of day since the lines will be long and we should wait till about 2 or 2:30 but they will hear none of it. We arrive at BB around 12: 30 and the place is rather full. Wait times for the slides are 30+ minutes which the little ones don't like but we hit a couple anyway between doing the lazy river and kiddie area. Finally around 3 things start clearing out and we get a few good rides in before closing time. However, since the kids have been in the pool all morning...they are gettting really tired and unagreeable by now.

We leave the park at closing and still have had a good time (would have been better if they had only listened but oh well...:charac2: ) The kids loved the kid play area and especially the thing where you hang onto the handle and ride the wire out over the water.

We go back to the house, get ready, and they decide that they want to do Rainforest Cafee (against my advice that it's too late). We arrive around 7:30 and are informed that it's a 2-3 hour wait to get in. Sudden indecision sets in, 3 very tired kids who have been swimming all day +5 adults who can't come to a decision on where to go decide to set out driving to find a place to eat. Again, against my advice we drive into Red Lobster (as I don't care much for sea food). We finally get in after about a 20-30 minute wait, get seated, and order. My sister and her party gets their food within about 30 minutes, Ours however takes over an hour and a half. Starved, very tired, and ready to walk out, our steaks finally arrive. To their credit they were very good steaks and all the food was good but...it was too little too late.

We piled back in, got to the house, ushered the kids past the pool (by force) and hit the sack. Perhaps next time they will listen....

Stay tuned for Day 4, "The pool is your enemy"
