Another early morning as we were woken by Goofy telling us to get up as there was another fun filled day ahead (or words to that effect).
We had managed to book a last minute GMF breakfast for 9.15 which meant we wanted to get into the park by opening time- 8.00 and do several rides before this.
As we were checking out of Santa Fe that day we packed the car before leaving so we didnt need to return. We again decided to walk to the park and reached the gates before 8.00 so needed to wait for about 5 minutes.
Through the gates and up main street everything was so quiet compared to the last 2 mornings when we had been slightly later (8.30ish).
We had decided to go to Discovery land first and ride Orbitron as we had never done this ride before. We were greeted at the ride with a Welcome you are our first guests today. We climbed in the spaceships and DD was allowed in on her own. No one else was on board so we had our own private ride which seemed to go very high and fast. We got off - then DH and DD got back on again.
We then went to Buzz and joined the short queue which was moving quickly but all of a sudden stopped. It seemed to have stopped for a while so we thought they may be letting someone in a wheelchair on but when the queue started moving again we realised the ride had broken down so everyone was having to leave. Shame but at least we hadnt stood there for long.
There was nothing much else open in Discovery land except Space Mountain which we didnt want to do (DD especially after her experience the previous day with Rock and Roller Coaster) so we wandered over to Fantasyland. Here we rode Pinocchio, Tea cups (twice), Carrousel and then decided to head to Bella Notte for GMF breakfast.

We had had breakfast here last year and found it really busy and chaotic but this year it was much more pleasant. There was a good choice of food and drinks.
When we had finished the park still wasnt open so I think we did a couple more rides but Im not sure.
We then headed back to Discoveryland to see what time the HISTA shows started and be there ready to queue for tickets for Lion King show. By then it was almost 10.00(official opening time) and we noticed people had started to queue for Autopia although it didnt open til 10.30 so DD and I decided to join the queue as it would be the only chance to ride this as the queues get so long later in the day.
DH wandered round to Annual Passport office but was told we wouldnt get anything refunded as we had bought tickets as a package (not even 1 day refunded) so we decided to leave APs til next trip.
When Autopia opened and the queue started moving it suddenly became so much longer in front of us. People were joining one family member or friend who had queued and whole families were just walking on at the front. Do they think we LIKE queuing and thats why we do it???!!!!!
Anyhow we rode the car and DD drove.
Meanwhile DH had gone to get tickets for Lion King show.
We had arranged to meet him by the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet which is where the confusion started.
I had in my mind Winne the P was at stage alongside castle and Id explained to DH to meet us there- just up from Bella Notte. We went there and WP wasnt there (or DH) but Hercules and lady (dont know name) were so queued for photo with them. Just as we reached front White Rabbit and Mad Hatter arrived- they were changing characters. DD was given the choice of who she wanted to see. She chose WR and MH which proved a good choice as WR kept hugging her and spinning her round. MH looked at her name in autograph book and wrote special message to her.
We then sat on seats to wait for DH and thats when it struck us we were at the wrong stage. But would DH come there (where I had described) or go to right place (that I had named). We decided to hang on for a while and wait then I left DD on seats while I quickly went to look to see if he was waiting by Bella Notte. I was glad I did as I saw the Princesses and Princes doing Meet and Greet. I ran back for DD hoping they wouldnt disappear.
We made our way to where they were (just up from Bella Notte towards Small World) and Sleeping Beauty and Ariel and Princes were walking away. DD was wearing her Belle dress so as Sleeping Beauty reached her she said Bonjour Belle which DD thought was great and Ariel waved at her.
Belle (her favourite) was still there with the Beast so she went to hover to get her photo taken (no queues just free for all) but when Belle saw her in her dress she pulled her in and put her arm round her. She then said Youve got the same dress on as me which DD thought was fantastic til Belle kissed her on the cheek -that just made her day. She just kept saying Belle kissed me Im never going to wash my face again
Cinderella, the mice and Snow White were also there but we just took quick photos as DD had got what she wanted.
We went back to where we had been waiting but still no DH so we decided to go to where W Pooh really was on other side of Fantasyland. He was there wondering where we had been (DH not W Pooh). I dont think he was that angry with us though!!!! Especially when we told him everything wed seen and done
We had a reservation at Auberge de Cendrillon at 12.30 so decided to wander slowly over there.
I will post a food report on Auberge but will say it was Fantastic- worth the money especially as DD is so mad on Princesses. Seeing her face was wonderful and followed on from her just meeting her heroine.

As we needed to book into Explorers today we had decided that DH would go and do this while we stayed to do another few rides and watch the parade again. So as DH went DD and I decided to ride Buzz with our VIP fast passes as it seemed to be working again.
We did this and then went to try and stake out a place near Belle Notte to watch the parade. I wanted to try and get a better view than I got on the first day we also wanted to be on the opposite side. It was busy but we found a place just past the towers near where the parade goes round the bend towards the castle. DD sat down but I stayed standing this time to avoid being trapped on the ground again like last time.
Again as on day 1 I wasnt sure whether I really liked the parade or not. It seemed really short compared to others I remember seeing and big gaps between floats with only a few dancers.
After the parade we wandered into Fantasy land and went on the storybook ride and Casey Junior. There was a massive queue for this (sign said 45 mins) and I gave DD the choice of whether to wait or not but she wanted to wait. In the end it was probably about 30 mins. We then went on Peter Pan with our fastpasses.
The queue for this was enormous (prob about 90mins) There also seemed a lot of people in the fast pass queue but when we joined it we realised a lot were hanging round waiting for their slot as the CMs were being really strict about this.
We had arranged to meet DH by the castle so by the time we had done PP we were 5 mins late- poor DH had done a lot of hanging round waiting for us today but at least we were checked into Explorers and car was back at Santa Fe.
We went for a drink at Chalet des Marionettes while we planned the rest of our day.
DD wanted to ride BTM again and as VIP FP ran out at 8.00 they decided to go and do that first. Ive always wanted to ride the paddle steamers but also wanted to ride the train so decided to go on that and then possibly have time to go on Paddle steamer before meeting others on Captain Hooks ship. I went to get on train at Fantasyland station and realised how busy it was. One train came and a few got off and a few on, then another, then another. Fortunately I then got on the next one and just collapsed into the seat and enjoyed the trip all the way round. I decided I would have to miss Paddle steamer ride yet again and just went to meet others. They had had worse wait then me despite having FPs as BTM had broken down (not with them on) but people were stuck on it for about 25 mins so they needed to wait. They had hoped for another turn but even the FP queue was enormous due to the breakdown. Instead they went on Adventure Isle on rope bridge. We met up at Pirate Ship and DD had a play.

We had decided to have hot dog at Caseys for tea so made our way there and managed to get table outside. It was really busy and DH went for food and took so long we thought he had abandoned us as we had left him standing, waiting so many times today. Hotdogs were delicious and DD had nuggets which she also really liked (Had to get her adult portion as they didnt do nuggets for children only adults).
We then wandered back to our favourite evening rides through Adventure land stopping to look in shops and at Aladdins Cave. We rode POC twice and then went to FLand to ride Small World twice.
After 14 hrs in the park we then wandered slowly out browsing in a few shops along mainstreet.
Wed had a fantastic 3 days in the parks and done so much!!!!
We walked back to Santa Fe where we collected our car and drove to Explorers which was to be our base for next 2 days.
As we were going to our room we passed the swimming pool and play area which was full of children running round and bouncing about. How on earth did they have the energy? I was exhausted and looking forward to a lie in and not having to dash to the park for 8.00 the next day- just a leisurely 2 days in Village and Val DEurope

We had decided to have hot dog at Caseys for tea so made our way there and managed to get table outside. It was really busy and DH went for food and took so long we thought he had abandoned us as we had left him standing, waiting so many times today. Hotdogs were delicious and DD had nuggets which she also really liked (Had to get her adult portion as they didnt do nuggets for children only adults).
We then wandered back to our favourite evening rides through Adventure land stopping to look in shops and at Aladdins Cave. We rode POC twice and then went to FLand to ride Small World twice.
After 14 hrs in the park we then wandered slowly out browsing in a few shops along mainstreet.
Wed had a fantastic 3 days in the parks and done so much!!!!
We walked back to Santa Fe where we collected our car and drove to Explorers which was to be our base for next 2 days.
As we were going to our room we passed the swimming pool and play area which was full of children running round and bouncing about. How on earth did they have the energy? I was exhausted and looking forward to a lie in and not having to dash to the park for 8.00 the next day- just a leisurely 2 days in Village and Val DEurope
What a great trippie!
We'll just have to go back ASAP!
