We're moving several times this trip. We were at the Treehouse Villas last week (7 of us), Boardwalk Villas this week (4 of us), and a studio at Beach Club (2 of us) for the weekend.Dave, thanks for taking time away from your vacation to post those wonderful pics. My family checks in on Sunday for 10 nights
and this was just what I needed to get me through the week.
How long are you at BWV? Are you staying at any other DVC resorts?
Have a great vacation![]()
One question.............was that an OLD TV and cabinet in the studio? If so..........

Yeah, we're here too soon for the new TVs. It's a bit of a let-down after the nice flat screens at the THV last week. With those, there were very convenient jacks on the front of the furniture to plug in the computer (VGA monitor jack, HDMI jack, S-Video (I think), and RCI jacks) so we could all look at the pictures from the day. Here, we have to gather around the little computer screen. One question.............was that an OLD TV and cabinet in the studio? If so..........

5004/5006, we had that room back in April, boy that's a long walk when you're pushing two strollers down the hall. Someone posted awhile ago that the rehab's where also supposed to include new flat panel/HDTV's but I don't see them in the pictures, has it changed and that's not going to happen?
Thanks for alll the pic's. Good to see my annual due's maintenance budget going towards something.
It looks like the same sofa.....
I thought BWV got new couches a couple of years ago. I remember thinking the first time I sat on them, how uncomfortable they were.![]()
Thanks for doing a comparison between old pix and new. I am still surprised that Disney didn't go with a duvet instead of bedspreads. I would think a simple floral throw would have kept the themed look and made it easier on the laundry. I know some of the non DVC resorts are changing to duvets.
Besides bedspreads always slide off onto the floor!Just a quirk with me, I think I got that out of my system!
I didn't use it for our second week at BWV, but I did use it for our initial check-in at THV. I didn't specify any preference during the online check-in, but the ones I had made with Member Services seem to have been honored.Did you use online check-in? If so, were you able to make your requests when you checked in online? My only request is an upper floor.
There is scaffolding in a few locations. For the most part, it is not conspicuous. A little on the roof that you can see from the main pool. A few other places here and there. The work hasn't been disrupting. Is there a lot of scaffolding on the exterior?
Haven't seen any kind of activity over there.Have they begun any soft openings of Kouzzina yet?
Yep.Is the BW Pizza window still open?
I was surprised to find bedspreads in the THV. They were the same as other resorts -- you know, the one's that weigh a ton. I think they get them from the company that makes the lead blankets you wear when getting x-rays.Did the go with duvets at BLT ? I seem to recall bedspreads from photos posted and you'd think that would be most likely place they'd start but DVC resorts and non-DVC resorts often don't follow what one or other is doing. And for DVC $ is funded out of MFs so ~hopefully~ they did go with most cost effective option on bed toppers.
