Day 17 of ROFR

NOOOOOOOO!!! Ugh

The waiting only gets worse. After you get the ROFR waiver, you have to wait for:
  • The estoppel from Disney (7-21 days)
  • Closing paperwork from the title company (1-4 days)
  • The seller to sign, notarize, and mail their paperwork back (?? days)
  • Close
  • Then wait for Disney to set up your account (9-18 days)
So, anywhere from three to seven more weeks after ROFR. It's important to just relax and start planning for the future, rather than focusing on the waiting right now.

Yes. waiting stinks! We have finally closed and are now waiting for Disney to do their thing! I can't wait to get my member number!

I just keep dreaming of all of the possibilities! My son loves the splash pad at SSR!!

Well the first phase of the wait is over. We passed ROFR today!!!!

Good luck to those still waiting!

The last week is the worst.

Good luck I hope you pass.

For what it's worth I've seen a bunch of low contracts pass ROFR recently.

It my case, it was exactly 7 weeks from the time I called about a contract on a reseller's website to the date I was able to call and make my first reservation.

I was fortunate that the sellers signed and returned everything very quickly. I should note that the process did involve calling the member accounting department so I could receive my member number a couple of weeks before it came in the mail.
