Waking up at WLV is really nice - brings me back to the days of staying in the campground and we did that for about 20 years. It really is a nice peaceful resort!
As usual I'm up first and decided to go over to the MK this morning and just take in the atmosphere. All the little ones with the excitement exploding from their faces - so adorable - took me back to the days when my were very young - now they are all in their 20's. Wow, how time has passed. They still had the end of Main Street roped off - the MK wasn't officially open but it won't be long. I like this - just relaxing and watching others hustle about - my kind of day.
I found out while talking to a CM that the SpectroMagic parade is tonight so I plan to come back over for that. I haven't seen it for a few years and that will be fun. I spend a few hours just strolling about and people watching and head back to the WLV to see what the kids are doing today. No one here so I left a note and I'll go out to the AKL for a bit. I enjoy this resort too - so different!
Time passes quickly and I head back to grab more film and head over for the parade - take the boat to the Contemporary so I can ride the monorail one last time this trip. Get to the MK and the crowds are coming and going - take in a few attractions and head over to plant myself for the parade viewing. There was a little one who decided to cling to me when the parade started. We both were filled with such excitement with the music and lights changing during the parade!
Back to the WVL in time for a bite to eat and wait for the Electric Water Pageant - a perk with staying in this resort.
Another fun day for me - wonder what the others were doing - the kids were on their way out to Pleasure Island when I got to the room - asked me to come along but I told them I need to rest a bit - a lot of driving to do tomorrow but maybe I'll show up.
Thought I would be sad that my trip was over - and I am - a little but I'll be back in a few weeks for DIS CON II! Can't wait!
