It was *the* day May 9- Everyone said it would take 2 hours to get there so we left by 8:30- Well people either drive really slow or take another way and we were mostly there by 9:15- We headed into Cocoa to kill time and stopped at the famous Ron Jons. Interesting store but didn't buy much (Pin and a Postcard) then off to Eckerd drug and *finally* it was time to head to port. Check in was a breeze and we were inline by 11:15 (had to scope out the area first)

Promptly at 12 they began boarding where we entered the ship about 12:15 where they shuffled us all up to Beach Blanket for a very good lunch. After we hung out in the Atrium till our room was ready, What a gorgeous ship. Our room currently looked out over port so we could see all the CMs coming back from a trip to Wal-Mart- We wandered around some more (and waited for our luggage) until the safety drill which went surprisingly fast and then back to see if our luggage had appeared. We headed up to Deck 10 for the Sail Away party which was very fun- The ships whistle was very kewl to hear! We were the 2nd boat out of the 3 in port we went behind the Carnival Fantasy and before the Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas-

It was soon time to go see Hercules, our first show, which was amazingly good. Hades reminded me of the Genie from Aladdin at DCA with a lot of funny one liners. By then we still hadn't received our luggage so we called Guest Services and they said they had some there to come and look- They indeed had our luggage (which had been stripped of all 10+ identification tags for the 3 pieces- I *think* the Porter hated us) so it was a quick rush to change and head up for the pin trading. The pins to buy were kind of yuck as most were LEs but LEs from Christmas, New Year etc. But I did trade for some good pins.

Dinner was Tritons, our more semi formal restaurant. We sat with a group from the UP of Michigan who were great people, our other group wasn't there that night. Dinner was really good- Afterwards we went back and just stayed in the room and watch a bit of one of the 3 movies we'd end up seeing parts of for the next 3 day . Only one of the 3 we ever saw the whole movie the rest I have no idea how they started or ended...
