This time around it was myself and my sister going - she's never been to DLRP but has been to California and as I had to keep reminding her throughout our little trip all Disney Parks are different!!

We wished that Eurostar could have stuck to the earlier timetable of leaving at 8.30am but it had now changed to leave London at 9.53am. This made a huge difference when we arrived as it seemed so late arriving at DLRP!!

We booked Eurostar seperately to our Disney Booking but added on Disney Express so we wouldn't have to open up the suitcases at bag check!! I was expecting to have to go and collect everything from the Express Desk at the station so was really impressed that the CM on the train handed out our luggage labels, fastpasses and meal vouchers.

Once we arrived we headed off to the Park to get sisters AP sorted out and then we headed to Fantasyland to do some rides. Sister is not a big fan of anything fast so we kept mainly to the low key rides but I did abandon her so I could ride BTM!

I did manage to convince her to go on Pirates of the Caribbean but a water cannon directed water at her and she suddenly yelped, when I looked she was soaking wet! Poetic Justice I thought as she was begining to moan that I hadn't warned her about the drops on the ride!:rotfl:

It was about 6pm now so we decided to head to The Pink Palace to check in!

We were really lucky and had emailed the hotel a week prior to our stay to request room 1206, and we were so pleased that we had been given this room for our stay! As far as its location goes it is really great and quite near to the restaurants/bar and reception although it is a walk to the Swimming Pool. Also near that room is the cast member room where the characters come out to do their dance at 4pm in the Disneyland Hotel.

It was very nice that our luggage was already waiting for us in the room and we were able to shower and get changed ready for our meal in Annettes.

The meal was lovely, and we both had rock n roll burgers, and milkshakes for dessert and then we handed over one of the premium vouchers to be used as face value against the total bill. Our server came and said that she couldn't accept the voucher so she went off to find a manager! The manager than came over and explained that they only accepted the standard or plus vouchers and only against the set menu so we would have to pay for our meal in full! We duly paid and left wondering what we were going to do with our spare voucher!!

We headed back to the hotel and had a quick drink in the bar before retiring to our room for the night. I left the window open and could hear Dinsey music quietly in the background and the castle twinkling in the distance, it felt like I was staying in a magical castle!

I'm going to really upset you guys now as I didn't take hardly any pictures this time around!! Arrggghh I know I can hear you saying! So Sorry, I'll try and remember to take piccys next time I visit!

Great start, I look forward to the rest:goodvibes
