Davy Crockett's Explorer Canoes and Columbia

I know these are attractions that are open seasonally, but when do they start operating regularly? We are looking for new experiences, and these were not open the last time we went. We wouldl love to try them out!

When i was there a month ago. The canoe trip was open on a Sunday (not on Monday) starting at 11am.

Really a nice attraction (& a do-it-yourself throwback).

Love the canoes!! Have fun with them, you'll get a little wet but not bad!

We watched the canoes in March, and DH and I were commenting on how HARD the cms were working compared to the passengers! Those guys were really straining and sweating! Guests were like, gently dip paddle, look around happily, my, isn't this lovely ... CMs were like, grunt, strain, steer! Felt kinda sorry for them!

Those CMs must have some nice looking arms by the time they've worked there a few months then, huh?

Maybe I should apply to work there. My arms are flaaaaby! I could see myself now. I'd probably be ready to quit after one day, though.

Hey!! Not all the passengers are like that! LOL I love to help paddle and am very enthusiastic. LOL sometimes too much and I splash those behind me.

Ohhh, yes, I was discreetly ogling the canoe guide CMs' biceps... well, the guys, anyway.

You wanna talk about flabby arms, they could use mine for a sail on the Columbia.

They should be in full operations, 7 days during the summer season, July to late August. I stress should.
