David's Vaction Club Rentals

I have rented points 5 times, 4 from private individuals and once from a service (similar to David's). I have never had a problem and always got a great rate (usually at or under $100 a night). I have heard great thing about David's (Daddio's) rentals. I subscribe to his email alerts and he runs quite a few last minute specials where you can get points for $10 or under.
Once I got APs, I got good room discounts but I always checked rentals first. Since most of my trips are very last minute, I didn't have a lot of luck with availability. I will usually rent points for my longer trips (7 days) when I know I am going to be at the resort more. I have stayed at SSR, AKV, and OKW. I loved them all.

We have rented points from Davi'd DVC several times. Always a smooth transaction and it's easy to add on ME and Dining Plans through him. I like the security of a 3rd party, so I'd rather pay a bit more and reserve through David, than rent from a private party.

This is us as well. We've rented from his service 3 times with zero issues, and prompt courteous responses to all of our questions and concerns. I happily recommend the service and enjoy using it for our DVC rentals.
Deb&Bill's post is worth reading a few times, so you understand the difference in renting points and a cash reservation.
That being said, we found it to work very well for our family.
