Just a quick question. Does anybody know if there are any David's Bridal shops close to Disney??

I have set my heart on my dream dress, here in England, only problem being, is it's £1400!!!

Ive just been looking on the David's Bridal website and they do the exact same dress for $750 - about £500!!!!

We are coming to Disney for a planning session at the end of June and I'm hoping to possibly go and get this dress while we are there.

If there isnt one on the rail that I can buy. Does anybody have any experience of having a dress shipped to them??

It's the Oleg Cassini Style CU099 . I noticed after writing my first message, that it is the final selling price and is only available in store.

Do you know if they have dresses to buy in the stores?? Or only sample ones, to try on, and then order from??

I was wondering if they had one in my size, would I be able to buy it and take it away with me. As I could have minor alterations done back here in England.

Im hoping and praying that they will have one, in one of the stores in Orlando, as I can't justify spending £1400 on it back in England

You need to call ahead and make an appointment with the David's Bridal shop. They usually just give you your own personal salesperson who goes through the store, let's you try on the sample dresses (you can get a really good deal if you purchase a sample dress, by the way, so be sure to ask!!) You might also want to call ahead and ask if they have that particular dress you want in stock or if they could order it for you. Good luck!!

There is a David's Bridal store not too far from Disney and they do not require an appointment (although making an appointment if you know when you want to go is probably a good idea). It is located right by the Mall of Millenia. I think the street/shopping center is called Millenia Plaza or something similar. Calling ahead to see if they have what you want in stock or can get it is an excellent suggestion.

They have both. If they have what you want in your size. you walk out with it. Me I had to order mine (a 18 week order, which is rare for them) because I wanted a style without the train.

If you have to order your dress I've heard it takes up to a month, but is normally quicker. You could call when you get closer to your date to make sure they have one, and make an appointment, or if you know that's what you want, you could look at ebay, you're sometimes able to find a great deal there.

I am so excited I could almost burst!!!!!

I can't say anything but good things for David's Bridal - they have just made me the happiest girl alive!!!!

Just to let you all know. . . I have had my heart set on a dress here in England for the last 8 months, the only problem being it is £1400!!! I couldn't possibly justify spending that sort of money on a dress that I will only wear once.

After reading about David's Bridal on here, I decided to have a look to see what all the fuss was about. There was my dress, the one i've wanted for so long, and on sale at $750!!!!

I just rang the David's Bridal at Millenia Plaza, and amazingly they have one left, and it's my size!!!!!!!!!

I paid for it there and then over the phone and am collecting it when we go for our planning session in 5 weeks time!!!!!

If there are any brides from the UK reading this, please bear this in mind if you have the chance to go to Florida before your wedding, because I have just saved £900!!!!!!!

Congrats Victoria! I bought my dress from David's about 8 years ago now and I still love it and love them!
