Wanted to let you know that we are praying for your family and Mindy! We were out of pocket for several days but when I heard about the botched Russian adoption, I immeadiatly thought of your family and the affect it might have on ya'll. Found your link to Bring Mindy Home to check out the status and saw your posting. I cannot begin to imagine your frustration! So....prayers are coming your way! Good Luck and God Bless!

Thank you Jaime! We (and all families trying to adopt from Russia right now) can use all the prayers we can get. Or more specifically, the children can use those prayers, as they are the ones that stand to suffer to most by this. It's a real shame, but from everything we are gathering from our agency, from the media and from each other, there is hope that this will be addressed appropriately and will be resolved quickly so these adoptions can continue to move forward.

Ironically, the family that created this uproar lives less than an hour from us.

Dave, first thing I thought of when this story broke on the news is that you had just in the past week posted about your upcoming adoption. It's a bad situation, but here's hoping the governments can work this out and your little girl will be in your arms very soon!

Wow, thanks again everyone! This board never ceases to amaze me. Like most of us I guess, when I first started lurking here several years ago I assumed it was just a board about Disney, or more specifically about the Fort. But as much as I love the Fort, I wouldn't be on here every day if that's all it was. The people on this board are amazing. I appreciate your thoughts, support and prayers more than you know.
