So we're down to paying off our house and God willing, that will be done by this time next year.
About six months before I turn thirty and twenty three years before the mortgage company wants us to finish.

Anyway, I believe in splurging on vacations after you're able to enjoy them and for me that means being debt free including my house.
Then we will hit it up on a lovely Disney Cruise. Not in a concierge room (this time) but in a lovely relaxing "it's all been paid for and saved up ahead of time so let's hit the spa" kind of way.

My four year old already is saving part of his commission (give, save, spend envelope system) each week for our cruise (one and a half years out) and our daughter will as well once she's three and on commission.

We did take a vacation last fall for our tenth anniversary but other than that have been quite dedicated to the DR plan since we started three years ago.
Any other diehards out there?
I just love the light at the end of the tunnel enough that we've decided to run as hard as we can and just finish the house. Which, of course, is making lots of our friends look at us like we're crazy.
Living like nobody else!
