My daughter is going to DL in Oct. we are paying for the trip, in lieu of a big wedding, such a Disney Baby from the get go What she doesn't know is we booked DLH not the Tropicana that she thinks. No disrespect to the Trop, love it, I stayed there last trip. I really want to add to the magic by having an array of items in her room when they arrive. Our TA suggested doing Disney Dream Makers. However they are pretty generic And over priced IMOH. I want honeymoon specific items along with some personallized items. I emailed dream makers and haven't gotten a response yet. Any ideas? Anyone do this? I have had things shipped to our resort in WDW but had to go to reception to get them. I will try this as a last resort but really wanted it special by it being on display in their room. Keep in mind , we are not wealthy , by any means. I worked serving tables for a year and a half to help finance her trip lol! Mama loves her Disney Daughter .

Try giving Vacation Planning a call. They may be able to help you out. 714-300-7526 option #2. (M-F 8am-5pm PST).

DH did the Mickey and Minnie with love option when we stayed at PPH for our anniversary. It was very nice.
I love my robe!

They don't allow any outside company to decorate the room (nor CM's) except Disney Floral and Gifts. If you're on a budget I'd recommend my secret weapon. You can order a plate of chocolate covered strawberries and milk and champagne from room service and have it waiting in the room or delivered at a specific time.

Any chance of upgrading them to concierge? That would be really amazing and give them lots of eats and drinks for the whole stay.

I whole Heartedly:yay:agree with the Concierge upgrade if at all possible! Give Vacation Planning a call, the know how to do everything! I betcha they know some surprise honeymoon things that you have not thought of :mic:. AND they do this kind of stuff every day so, they will know how to work within a set budgetpixiedust:Be sure to have someone with the DLH explain everything they are entitled to do being a DLH guest:rockband:. Congratulations!

Yes, it does! That's what I booked for my son and daughter-in-law for their honeymoon. However, it is a little on the pricey side ($800/night)! When you consider that a regular suite is close to that and doesn't include concierge, it doesn't seem so bad, plus there are lots of extras included and it's right next door to the lounge. It has the best fireworks viewing in the hotel, too, and you can run next door and grab champagne (well, sparkling wine) to take back to your room and sip as you watch :)

Thanks everyone for the ideas! I will call vaca planning . Can't hurt to ask

I guess me showing up and personally delivering it would not go well. Haha
