This will be my family's second trip to WDW but now my DD-16, has a pacemaker. Her cardiologist has cleared her to go on rides, but looking for other tips people might have. She was diagnosed with a rare heart condition about a year after our last WDW trip 4 yrs ago.

My daughters dr cleared her to go on rides too but we still avoid the spinning/intense version of mission space. Shortly after it opened 2 people died on it, they both had a history of heart problems and there was never a great explanation to their cause of death. When we go we have to avoid heat and rest a lot more than people without heart problems. Be prepared to do the parks at a slower pace, dont push her. Have fun

Thanks so much, hadn't thought of that. Do you have any issue with the magic bands and the pacemaker?

My 16 yo son has an ICD (defibrillator/pacemaker). Rockin Roller Coaster is a big NO for pacemakers/ICDs because it is magnetic launch. It could cause device to malfunction.
