That's so odd. I mean, you can print a boarding pass without showing ID no problem, but the idea of a SW employee being able to somehow flag something for a government entity doesn't seem correct.
When I went through the REAL ID fiasco in WI, they actually emailed me a copy of my new license with my picture on it. Nice thing to have when trying to change everything after moving.
I have seen the advertisements for Clear. It must come in SO HANDY if your purse or wallet gets stolen or lost. Wow, great for you! Is Clear an annual membership? What are the fees per year? Thanks in advance!
It is an annual membership, there are several discounts out there, I believe it is $159 per year and ultimately, I think you are better off getting TSA Precheck than Clear if all you are worried about is the speed of going through security, for ID, Clear helps.
She got her Birth Certificate! Well I guess we got it. Since she has no drivers license I had to go in as her Dad and provide mine. Friday she's headed to the MVA to get the new Real ID license and they'll give her a temp license. Between all that we have I suspect we will be fine.
It could be that it was because she wanted same day service instead of them mailing it. They said that either she needed her Drivers License or that one of her parents with a license had to come in and pick it up. Of course this is a state thing so different rules for different states.
Oh, absolutely. I know my brother can get mine because he's done it before. Just ask and pay . I can certainly understand a state providing more protection!
