Daughter & DVC

As an early college graduation present, we booked a 2 bedroom villa at BWV for our daughter and her 3 girlfriends for their early March 2011 spring break. They will be arriving after 10:30 pm at night and using Magical Express to get to their resort so they don't have to rent a car.

Looking to see what would be the best way for them to get groceries/alcohol (all are over 21) delivered to their room so that they don't have to waste anytime grocery shopping. I've seen posts about both Garden Grocers and Wego Shop. I'm thinking that Garden Grocers may be the way to go so they can pay for it ahead of time via credit card and have it delivered to their room when they arrive. I'm sure that they may want some beer or alcohol, but I couldn't find either listed on the GG website shopping lists. Can anyone help me with where I can find it on their website and what else they may have to do to show that they are of legal age for the purchase? Thanks..

I think you need to call to add alcohol to your order.

OMG that is so nice.. Do you need any more kids.. sometimes I act just over 21?

I have taken a taxi, also there is a place walking distance to (DTD and to) the BWV.
Look at a map on like Yahoo maps and they could walk.

There is also a mimi mart at BC, reasonable prices for bread, beer, sandwich stuff ect. Easy walk there too.

As the previous poster mentioned, the Hess gas station/mini-mart near the BWV has reasonable prices (for WDW) and is only a short walk through the parking lot, and across a street.

I believe the DVC website has a grocery order form. Not sure on alcohol though.

We've used garden grocer. I think you can add alcohol by adding it into the comments, but honestly, we buy a bottle from the gift shop rather than bother with the grocery delivery added processes for alcohol delivery.

Just last weekend took the bus to Pleasure Island and walked a short walk to the Hess station so DH could purchase reasonably priced beer. I bought Coke Zero for the alcohol I brought in my checked bag wrapped in double ziplocks. TSA did inspect it, but all was good.

I used WEGO shop in December. They will go to whatever grocery store you want. We ordered liquor and they brought that as well. There is a charge based on how much money your supplies are. When they arrive they give you the bill and go over what they purchased with you. You do have to be present to receive the alcohol. I believe Garden Grocer will deliver alcohol if they have a copy of a driver's license.
We loved WEGO Shop.

Yes you can order alcohol but you have to call as everyone said. The other problem is as they said you have to be there with drivers license when delivered. This might be a problem as your daughter is getting there late and I am not sure how late they deliver. If there is no alcohol I know that they will leave the groceries with bell hops and they will put it in the fridge if needed.
Perhaps it would just be easier for them to enjoy drinks while there? I know in Epcot and DTD there is lots of yummy choices!

That's why we just buy the booze at the gift shop. Its a little pricier, but its still cheaper than drinking in the bar - and at Disney - time is money. I don't want to spend my vacation waiting for the grocery delivery guy or running to Hess. When we get our groceries delivered, they are often there when we arrive - and if they aren't - we are in the pool anyway for the afternoon - or at dinner - or in the parks.

I've ordered alcohol from wego and after talking with them, I emailed her a copy of my driver's license and she left it at bell services with our other groceries because I had a late (11pm) arrival..
