Hello,
I am trying to make my Daughter's 1st trip "MAGICAL" and was wondering if you had any ideas... I have already made Priority Seating for a Character Diner! Any suugestions greatly appreciated!!!

Hi!
Is she potty trained? If so and if she and you are OK with her being away from you for about 2 hours then I would suggest the Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. It is with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. They have "tea" and eat lunch and decorate their own cupcake. They play games and have their picture taken with Alice and the Mad Hatter. They give you a pager just in case your child wants to leave because it's for the little ones only. Here is a link to more info:

DD just did this and she had a great time.

My suggestion is to find as many characters as you can because at her age those characters are as real as they come. We have taken my DD at ages 2,3 &4 and every year she has experienced new magical things. But everything boils down to the characters.

Make sure you don't miss Toon Town and I suggest doing it early, like first thing (you can take the train and get off there). I suggest early because we have waited almost 2 hours to see Mickey there at 2 in the afternoon and another year waited no time first thing in the morning. They have other characters at Toon Town also (sometimes Cinderella).

I don't know how long you are going but I suggest these restaurants to you: Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, Garden Grill, and Cinderellas Royal Table.

Don't forget the fireworks either, it's these closing moments of a very busy day that makes the magic come alive.

Have a wonderful time:wave:

My biggest piece of advice would be to take time to enjoy the little things. Don't overschedule. My sons found the greatest pleasure in some of the simplest things. The monorail was one of their top 3 attractions. Getting to trade pins w/ a cast member was a favorite moment for my 3½ year old. He had one pin he wore on his shirt and he probably traded it 5 or 6 times so he rarely had the same pin for more than 3 hours. :) My almost 2 year old gets most excited when we talk about how he fed the ducks outside MGM while waiting for a ferry boat to the Beach Club! The characters are of course a huge hit too.

You'll have a fantastic time!!!!

My DD was 3 on her first trip to WDW. Her favorite thing was the Cinderella breakfast in the castle. She was in awe of the "real" princesses visiting each table.

Other than that, she really enjoyed all of the Fantasyland and Toontown attractions and the Share a Dream Come True parade. Our kids didn't stay up late enough to see the fireworks, but that would probably be fun if your DD can stay awake for it!

Have a great time!

I agree with above, do not over schedule. Relax and enjoy it. I ended up canceling a few PSs because DD would just rather sit and play in the pool at some times.

Magical Moments (just got back with my almost 3 DD):
Toon Town.. Cinderella in the Hall of Fame. Also saw Minnie and Chip N Dale there another day.
Toon Town.. Mickey in the Judges tent. we hit it around 10am and it was not bad.
Tea Cups.. My DD just loved this ride. We had to do it a couple of times.
Parades
Fireworks
ILLUMINATIONS (awesome Show)
Fantasmic
quiet meals... we did Beaches and Cream one night then walked over to Epcot for Illuminations. that meal at Beaches and Cream was unrushed and one of the best times we had together the whole trip.
Characters... they will see them all day if they can. we'd seen Mickey already, but DD just HAD to wait in line again.. Its awesome!
KIDCOT at Epcot.. each country has a stand where kids can make masks.. VERY FUN!

Just take it easy, dont kill yourself and enjoy. Its magical just being there with DD.

The big attraction for our DD age 3 was the swimming pool at our resort. Make sure to schedule enough down time to swim. She also loved the show in front of Cinderella's castle.

I just asked my 3 year old daughter what her favorite parts of Disney World were (we went in Feb). Her replies were the tea cups (did over and over and over again), Figment ride, making chocolate chip cookies at Sunshine food Court in Epcot Land, Philarmagic Show, the playgrounds at MGM/Animal Kingdom. I will add that she did not like (was scared of) snow white's ride, peter pan's ride, and the boat ride in Norway. Try not to overplan since sometimes it is small things that really gain the child's attention.
