hi everyone....we went to disney the first week of may and my daughter had an appt. at bibbidi bobbidi boutique. i made her a cinderella dress just for the occasion instead of purchasing one (i'm a pageant clothing designer so it didn't make sense to buy one lol). anyway, my friend took her two daughters down there and i told her she had to take the girls there. they just called me so excited telling me that my emily's pic is on the front table in a frame by itself displayed. i'm soooo thrilled :yay: :Pinkbounc my question is shouldn't they have called me to find out if that is okay (which of course it is!) i didn't even purchase one of their dresses? you would think they would want their clothing advertised. all of the fairy godmothers went crazy over her telling her how beautiful she is.....they paid more attention to her than any of the other children which made me feel very bad :confused3
thanks for any input...i'm thinking about calling just to thank them for displaying it : )

Did you sign a contract when you went in to have her made-up? I'm sure you signed something, that in small print gives them the right to use your/her photo's anyway, anywhere they want...if not...you've got a good suit on your hands....but I can almost guarantee somewhere, on something that has your signature there's a statement stating they can use the pictures they took for anything they want.

I would just be proud that they chose your pictures to display!!! Ask your friends to take a picture of it, and you can add that to a modeling portfolio if she decides she would like to pursue that venue when she gets older!!!

I am pretty sure there is a sign as you are walking into Disney stating that you may be photographed and your picture can be used and that if you do not want that to happen I think you have to go to customer service or something to that extent. I always see the sign as I am going in, but never really pay much attention to it past the part of you may be photographed....I am sure if you did not want it there you could call and ask them to remove it, yet I think you said you did not mind. Sounds cool to me :)
