Dates for December trip

We are going to Disney from November 26 Till December 10 and I was wondering when I can expect to see dates for the Christmas Party, when the tickets will go on sale, and when the discount rates for hotels for annual pass holders will be? Does anyone know? Or can you tell me where to look for this info. I am so out of the loop. We only went less than a year ago, but it seems so long since I have planned a trip. I need a Disney fix desperately.

Where are you staying? Who's in your group? What are you planning! There are three of us! My mom me (28) and a little girl we are fundraising for (13).

There will be me (32), dh, older dd (7) and baby (almost 2 when we go). The in-laws are going too, but won't be hanging out with us.

The first week we are staying at Brian's Spanish Cove because the in-laws are members and got us a deal. Probably the second week we will stay at All Star Movies (our home away from home). We are thinking the Dalmation building this time. We usually stay in Andy's room.

We haven't sat down and made any formal plans yet, but we definitely will be doing all the parks, plus Sea World, a water park, shopping, the Christmas Party, we usually do a lot of Character meals. My priorities this time are Chef Mickey's and Le Cellier.

Here's the link to MVMCP 2005 Sticky on the Resorts board. Subscribe to it, and it'll let you know when the tickets go on sale. Everyone is hinting that May 1 will be the date. I think AP's get 25% off the tickets at the GATE the DAY OF the party. No AP specific presale discount, but there is a GENERAL presale discount. The link also has the days that MVMCP will be. You should be there for several of them, although it says to avoid Fridays and that Tuesdays are the best days? We are going on Dec 1, Thursday.

I'm in NB (lived in Halifax for years and my DS7 was born there) and we'll be "next door" at All Star Music Dec. 3-11. We're planning on going to MVMCP on Thurs, Dec. 8. It's our first trip to WDW together (visited it for 3 days in 1982 with parents) and my parents and sister may be going too and staying at CSR, doing a different (slower) park pace than us but meeting up with us for some PS meals and some evening events.

So far I'm going with unofficial dates for MVMCP that are: November 27, 29, December 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 2005. Can't remember if I got them off allears.net or here on DIS somewhere. Anyway we should have official dates within a week or so I hope.

Hey, we'll probably share an All Stars bus ride sometime during our trips LOL I'm pretty excited to go A lot of planning done but a lot of paying to do now...

Unfortunately, we won't share a bus ride. We rent a van while there. We find it so convenient to come and go as we please and to run errands to get supplies and go outlet shopping.

Thanks for the unofficial dates. I guess we better get busy planning!

I can hardly wait. We are a Disney crazy family! We are contemplating decorating the house in Disney. Our Christmas stuff is already all Disney. It seems so childish sometimes when you are away from the World, but we always have such a good time there and can't wait to go back.
