Maybe you should start with EPCOT. England is known for their Castles.. so a castle might not be as impressive

(Actually I would still start with MK, it is the best park, if she has never been to WDW before start with MK.)

What will the weather be like in late september/october? y phone says its 29 degress today in Kissimmee so i would assume October would be about the same?

Yeh i cant complain about my country Royal consort, it is lovely and has its fair share of nice theme parks but she is a disney fan so i no this will be a major experience for her! But thanks and i am sure Australia is lovely an ex work collegue of mine has just moved there!

Yeh i think we will start with MK just for the whole Disney-ness of it all. To be honest shes never been on a plane so thats an experience in itself

The weather will be similar to how it is now, but it should be a bit more humid and may be a little warmer than now.

I don't think you are going to have to try too hard for that WOW factor, it will be all around her! I'm sure she will loveWDW.

A few notes:

Magic Kingdom
Haunted Mansion - New queue and new hitch hiking ghost since my last visit (Dec 2010) - I can't wait.
Jungle Ride - do it at night
Don't overlook what you may consider kid's rides. Since she is into disney, the new Dumbo might be quite a bit of fun. Also the Winnie the Pooh ride has a new queue that entertained us (all adults) - Also I understand that Dumbo is really nice at night.
Definitely catch the Electric Light Parade and Fireworks. -In order to get prime viewing, one of us picked up our food (Cosmic Rays for us) while the rest of us settled in to save a spot. We were about an hour ahead of time, but spent that time having our meal, and people watching, so it went pretty quickly.

Hollywood Studios
Tower of Terror is my all time favorite ride - so I am with you there. And as you said, the Muppet Caper and as someone suggested the Great Movie Ride are good choices. Keep in mind that this is the worse park for quick counter service meals - (excluding Starring Rolls) - so plan accordingly.

Epcot
Soaring - You want the top row. If you ask the CM and you are willing to wait till the next group, you will have no problem getting those seats.

Weather -
After September, the tropical season winds down, and the end of September is much better than the beginning of September. Still, expect humidity, and occasional thunderstorms. Sometimes these thunderstorms are awesome to watch (Florida is known for it's lightning storms). You will mostly need summer clothes, with a light jacket or so. If it is really hot, just plan to do the indoor rides (such as haunted mansion, pirates of Caribbean etc during the hottest part of the day).

Here are my thoughts:

Whatever park you are going to, make sure that you are standing at the gate to go in at least 10-15 minute before it’s scheduled to open. Crowds are low then and it’s nice to see the park without people all over the place. You also get on rides without as long of a wait. We were just there in Jan, and they had eliminated all of the opening “shows” at the parks, so I would not count on seeing those.

I would also start at the Magic Kingdom. It’s really impressive and fun. And if she is a fan of Disney animated movies, she will love this park. I would plan on having dinner at the Castle the first night. Since it’s her first time here, she won’t really want to hop from park to park her first day. There’s so much to do here, you won’t get through it in one day.

The Halloween party is fun, no matter your age, although it is pricey because you can’t get in with your regular pass. You have to buy a separate ticket. Some people dress up in costumes. The characters are in costumes. You can get your picture taken with Snow White and all of the Dwarfs and Cinderella’s glass carriage. The parade is awesome….all kinds of Disney villains. And get to Frontierland at least 30 min before the parade. The Headless Horseman is awesome.

As for Epcot, maybe Soarin’ wasn’t there the last time you were. It is very cool. Test Track is fun too. Go to the Food and Wine Festival there during the week, not the weekends. It’ll be less crowded.

At Hollywood Studios, we love Rockin Rollercoaster. I’m also a fan of the veggie sandwich at Backlot Express. I know people complain about the counter service food at this park, but I love that sandwich.

Animal Kingdom – ride the safari at different times of the day, you’ll see different animals. The bird show is funny and if she likes animals, she’ll enjoy the different birds. My kids are in their twenties and love the Dinosaur ride. It’s a Bug’s Life is always good too.

You’ll be there for a really nice amount of time. I would just try to do all of the rides! Don’t worry about if other people like them or not. Give them a try and see what you think. Personally, I always like Sounds Dangerous (I think they are changing the name) and lots of people seem to hate it. I hate Tower of Terror, and others love it. I love Rockin Rollercoaster and Peter Pan…and they couldn’t be more different!

I would see Fantasmic. That is the best evening show at WDW in my opinion.

Another thought…if you like simulators, go to Downtown Disney one day (during the week it’ll be less crowded) and spend the day at Disney Quest. There are also some great places to eat there and some fun shops.
