Date & Rate.....2008!

Congrats! That is an awesome savings! :thumbsup2

Thanks! I was looking at the annual pass website and noticed the link for hotel savings. I couldn't believe it when I put in my dates and saw the price drop, so I called Universal directly for confirmation. They confirmed it and applied the new rate to my reservation. I should receive the confirmation email in 24 to 48 hours.

I also wanted to add the I'm a Loewsfirst Gold member, but couldn't apply it to this new rate because its an Annual Pass rate.

Thanks everyone for the updates. Here is mine: I just booked flights from Nashville to Orlando for four people for, are you ready?, $650.00, YES...that's the correct price. It is for June 24-June 28 with Southwest airlines. Now thanks to all of you, I just need the hotel (got my tickets earlier (thanks T and A). I will use the AP and hopefully get a great rate on the Portofino....Orlando here we come! :goodvibes

Thanks again everyone!

So after reading about Patsters new rates at the RPR, I called about my rates that same weekend that we are there. Since we aren't staying for 3 or more nights, we didn't qualify for the super saver the AP special. So she asked me if she should look at the different hotels for a better rate (we were currently at the RPR, with AAA rate at $233 a night. She said hey, I ahve the HRH for $219 a night, AP rate, I said I'LL TAKE IT :cool1:

That's awesome. I originally wanted the HRH when I booked back in November, but there wasn't anything at the available at the time???

So, now we're at our Timeshare in Orlando for 7 days, then 3 days at the HRH, sweet, and it all starts this Friday the 9th :) :)

Congratulations on getting switched to the HRH with a lower rate! :thumbsup2

8/17-8/22(Sun-Fri)
RPR
APH rate $134, Std Garden view.
2 free movies, $10 concession, $150 coupon book

:cool1: Can't believe we are getting 5 nights for $753.75 including tax!

Just updated my rate by telephone with a very helpful UO agent...

6/26-28 (Thurs.-Sat.)
RPH Standard Room
$189.00 on Thurs., $194.00 on Fri. (b4 tax)
FL Resident Rate
Loew's First Member, blue, but non-qualifying stay

Not a huge savings (almost $70.00 total over AAA), but I'll take every penny I can! :thumbsup2

Yay!! You got HRH!! Good things come to those that wait...and check :thumbsup2

I updated your info and realized you have provided info for all THREE hotels :lmao: Thanks!!

Anyone have any advice for me?

I just need 1 night (6/9), there is no availability at RPR. The rack rates are $300 at Port and HR.

I would love to get a room for $200.

Thanks!!

First piece: stay more than 1 night.

Second piece: pay rack :guilty: (do you have AAA for discount?)

Third: stay off-site and purchase EP (altho, only good 1 time each ride...better than nothing)....how many peeps in yer family??

Thanks for the fast response.

I just booked a room for $269 with AAA at Port. There were no vacancies at all at RPR. Is there a better discount for staying there more than one night?

I looked into the EP, but it would cost almost 1/2 the price of the room and I think it is only good for 1 day.

Thanks.

Usually rooms will magically appear when you plug in 3 or 4 nights or more. :confused3 And you can usually get the SuperSaver rate for 3 nights or more.... (IF they aren't sold out of rooms available at that rate ;) )

As everyone may have noticed my flight price from Southwest (the best I have seen in a long time), here are my room rates:

Portofino Club level for 4 nights (June 24-June 28) with the APH discount:

$329.00 plus tax per night. Does this sound like a good price? I have it on a courtesy hold for 24 hours and have to make a deposit by 4:00 pm hotel time on Thursday. Please respond and let me know your opinion.

Thanks in advance! :goodvibes

It has been reported that upgrading to club at check in is $75. If you get a room with APH without club it's 224 then add club its 299 which would be $30 a day?

Thanks, Motherfletcher! The only thing that scares me is that when i made the reservation (and the operator was really helpful), she said there were only 4 club levels left for my dates, otherwise I would gladly do what you had said. Do you think I still would have a chance if I did it your way? If there was a remote chance, I would do it, but I hate to lose the club level. Thanks again. :goodvibes

What you could lose would be the Deluxe room. They could put you in a garden view. We have been upgraded to club from rooms other than those on club level. I think they have a cut off number but it is pretty high.
Great rate from Southwest!

I get a rate of $209 at PBH with APH.

Thanks Motherfletcher! I took your advice and when i went to place a deposit on my courtesy hold, I tried to get a Garden view and, would you believe that week they were sold out. She did say that there were some Bay views left. I explained what I wanted to do, and she said there was a possibilty that it could or could not happen. She did explain the hotel was booking fast for my week of June 24. So, I gave in and put a deposit for the Club level at $329.00 per night plus tax.

Thanks again for yours and everyones help. I believe I am ready and prepared for our trip.

At least I believe I got the best price on my flight!
