Date Night Monorail Crawl

We are staying at the GF in a couple of weeks and miracle of miracles, hubby and I have a date night during our stay! We would like to do a monorail crawl, our primary targets being Trader Sam's and Enchanted Rose. I'm not sure how much time exactly we'll have - maybe 4 - 5 hours? Will this be enough time to also hit Trader Sam's? I know there's usually a wait, but I don't know how long I should expect that wait to be. Any thoughts or tips would be helpful!

Trader Sam’s is not easy. We tried several times in November but no luck. The wait list was full. You can sit outside and order tho. We started out at The Contemporary. We had a drink at the bar and watched some football. We went to Tamu Lounge and sat at the bar for dinner. The pot stickers and noodles from O’Hana were great. Tamu had great drinks, too. The bartenders were really nice. We finished at The Enchanted Rose - my least favorite. The drinks were interesting and the rooms were beautiful. The service was just ok. We waited for 30 after we were seated to order drinks. It was almost 10 pm and not crowded. Have fun!

IMO Best strategy for Trader Sams is get there an hour before opening and get on the list to go in when it opens then go drink at Tambu lounge for an hour or your wait could be several hours. But that would mean more of a date afternoon to early evening.

I agree with this. OP, if you can start early, I would be at Poly no later than 2/2:15 pm to put yourself on the list to be in the first wave of guests to get into Trader Sam's (it opens at 3 pm). That would pretty much guarantee you will get in when it opens at 3 pm and you will get seats together. I would then go to Enchanted Rose and someplace at CR if that holds any interest.
