My family and I are coming to Ft Wilderness mid April. My parents are flying in a day before us. This is their very first time at WDW, and our first time at Ft Wilderness. I want to plan a date night for them the night they fly in. They won't have a car, and aren't familiar with WDW. What would be a nice "date night" restaurant that would be easy for them to get to from Ft Wilderness? Thanks for the help! :)

Pretty much anywhere using the Disney buses. Easiest would be Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge, there is a bus that runs from FW up by the Marina to Wilderness Lodge, it is part of the yellow bus route so you can go that way or take any other internal bus the marina and catch it.

There is a bus to Downtown Disney that runs from FW bus terminal (can take any internal bus to get to the bus terminal.) DTD has lots of great places to eat and enjoy the evening. If they fancy a resteraunt you find in another resort they can also use the DTD bus to connect to that resort.

Hoop dee doo revue at ft wilderness...that way they won't have to worry about how to get around without u

California Grill, it is so romantic when they dim the lights and pipe in the music and the fire works, they can take the boat from the fort and hop on the monorail to contemporary

California Grill at the Contemporary is nice. We also like Narcoossee at The Grand Floridian. It's on the water, nice atmosphere. You can take the resort boat to the Contemporary and grab the resort monorail to the GF.

I concur. You can get in to see the fireworks if you've eaten there that day. But to get a dining reservation right during the fireworks is even more awesome. Especially as a surprise. They can easily take the resort boat from the boat dock at the fort over to the contemporary.

Any restaurant at The GF is a good date night. If you're looking to spend big $, I hear Victoria & Albert's is quite the place.

The two easiest and nice restaurants are Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge or California Grille at Contemporary. It is one boat ride. Both are excellent, Cali is a little more expensive but not much. I love GF too but that involves two modes of transport.
