We are doing a FTVR for our 10th in April 2010. We are looking at DCL because we want to do it on the beach. :thumbsup2 We had originally looked at Wilderness Terrace, but decided to change to DCL. Now the problem. Our anniverary is Thursday the 29th. would have been no problem for WT, but DCL is at Sea on Thursday for the 7 night, and docked in Port Canaveral for the 3 night. :guilty: So the VR wouldn't be on the actual day. Is that a big deal?

Jennifer,

We are doing our DFTVR a whole 6 months after our 20th wedding anniversary. For us it's not a big deal, the date we have works with everyone's schedules, it was for convenience and for the time of year. Our actual anniversary is May 28 and our VR is on November 24 this year. For us, it's not about the date, but about the recommittment to each other.

Good Luck choosing!

I don't think it's a big deal. Our anniversary is in August and we honeymooned in WDW. We decided it was just WAY to humid to go there again in August so we're doing our VR a couple months earlier.

we want to use our original wedding date , but more because it works for vacations for everyone and also because its when we usually take our vacation.the meaning behind the ceremony truly is more important than the date in my opinion.:goodvibes

Thanks! It does help.

Hey, maybe we should push it up! :rotfl: I can atleast book Nov of 2009! And that should be cheaper than April of 2010!

WOW!!! :scared1: Difference between April and Nov is almost $3000 for the 7 night cruise!!

Looks like Dh and I have some discussing to do!
