This post has the list published by Disney on Nov. 5: https://www.disboards.com/threads/disney-genie-announcement.3849361/post-63513111. I haven't read of any changes, and I try to keep up with the Genie thread HERE as well as others that pop up on the TPAS forum. Is anyone collecting data on the daily prices for the 8 pay per ride attractions? Or is there anywhere that the data is being collected? TIA

No. Every ride at WDW can still be ridden for “free”. However, two rides in each park also have a paid option (Individual Lightning Lane) to skip those lines. Expedition Everest is one of the two at AK. So you can either wait in the line or buy the ILL and bypass the line.Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but there are now rides that require extra surcharges after paying for park admission? This is not for "skipping the line" service, correct?
LAX
Unfortunately, yes, guests pay now to skip the line. Pay $15/day/person for Genie+ to schedule Lightning Lane (FP) for most rides, or pay the amount in the table above (don't have to pay for G+) for Individual Lightning Lane Selections, also known as ILL$. The alternative is the standby line, except for Remy, which has the VQ at 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM.Maybe I am misunderstanding this, but there are now rides that require extra surcharges after paying for park admission? Unfortunately, current Disney leadership appears to not care at all about the meaning of “What would Walt do?”. That question helped lead Disney out of a very tumultuous time after Walt’s death, and it focused/reminded the company that the most important thing was taking care of the guest. A Disney vacation has always been expensive, but in the past the company made it worth the money because of all the “pluses” and not charging for the “extras”. Now it seems like Disney wants to charge for every little thing they can. And I don’t think that’s what Walt would do.Thanks. It's basically a paid option to skip line, which is better than what I had thought for now at least. I imagine the days of certain rides ONLY available with additional charges won't be too far away.
LAX
Just wait till later in the day to ride. It was walk on around 5:00 PM when we were there last week.I didn’t realize that expedition Everest is an individually priced ride. Ugh.
Are you going in the first part of 2022? Good news, you wont be tempted to pay for it since its down for 4+ months for a refurb.I didn’t realize that expedition Everest is an individually priced ride. Ugh.
Interestingly Walt invented the concept of pay per ride as both Disneyland and Disney World opened with both gate admission and ride tickets, some rides costing more than others. So I guess they did what Walt would do.Unfortunately, current Disney leadership appears to not care at all about the meaning of “What would Walt do?”. Yes, but that was an entirely different business model. Walt wasn’t gouging people with the price of admission ticket. So a super cheap admission ticket combined with paying for rides makes sense. The $1 admission ticket in 1955 is equivalent to $10.32 in todays dollars. I would be more than happy with even a $20 admission ticket combined with $2.50 per ride (todays equivalent of the $0.25 per ride cost in 1955). Instead, Disney is charging $150 for the admission ticket and now squeezing even more to be able to use LL. That’s what I don’t think Walt would have done. He wanted everyone to be able to enjoy the experience.Interestingly Walt invented the concept of pay per ride as both Disneyland and Disney World opened with both gate admission and ride tickets, some rides costing more than others. Walt didn't invent it, that was the way amusement parks operated back then. I think POP (Pay One Price) admission became common in the industry sometime in the '60s.Interestingly Walt invented the concept of pay per ride as both Disneyland and Disney World opened with both gate admission and ride tickets, some rides costing more than others. I'm can't decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. I won't pay the single ride fee, but being an AP-er I don't really want to buy Genie+ either. Moving Frozen onto Genie+ might make the standby wait even longer.Frozen will be taken away and added to the regular genie when guardian of the galaxy comes in summer of 22. Just my guess but I see it happening.

Yeah, enough to make me seriously consider not renewing my AP when it expires next May. But I'll probably keep the weekdays only FL AP just to continue to enjoy the parks' ambience, the classics that have reasonable wait times, and whatever ends up having a no-added-cost virtual queue in the future.the New fast pass genie has to suck being a local.
