Dasani in Disney. Let's do it again! Link to trip report posted!

I will be down there some of the same days as you. We arrive on the 28th. Maybe we can have a little DIS meet?

Have fun planning this summer!

Yeah as Cheri said, it works out about the same on the savings either way so it's a win no matter what. But since you eat a lot of meals off site I think you made the right choice. I too am glad you're finally eating at some TS places though! You're gonna LOVE it :goodvibes

GL with the potty training. I'm dreading that when Alex gets old enough. I told Chris that's his job because I don't have the right "equipment" :lmao:

I hope the kids are good for the sit down meals. Especially the character ones! I'm sure we are going to love it. I'm excited!

Ugh. Today he's mad and won't let me take his diaper off! And he was doing so well yesterday :headache: Just takes time I guess.

He'll definitely be potty trained by the trip! I can't wait to send him to the bathroom with Darren lol. I always have to take him now because there's NEVER a changing station in the men's bathroom!

Heather, I've never really caught on to the fact that y'all like to eat offsite! I'm glad that you'll be able to get some table service meals in this time! :woohoo:Where do y'all usually eat when you go offsite?

Hmm, maybe I haven't mentioned it in awhile! We've eaten at Olive Garden, Golden Corral, fast food and stuff like that. We also love T-Rex and Rainforest Cafe, and they're not on the dining plan.

That'd be fun! I've never met any dissers in Disney before. Darren's always on the lookout for lime green Mickey heads for us, but we've never seen any.

That reminds me of a funny story. We went to Disney one year and we were watching Mulch, Sweat, and Shears in DHS. They picked a guy from the audience to play an instrument (a rake, perhaps?) and he looked like he had a lot of fun. Darren's parents have it on video.

Wouldn't you know, a couple of years later, Darren and I were browsing the Grand Floridian and we get on a bus, and the SAME guy gets on with us! I know it was him because of the video. I thought that was crazy that we saw him again. He must be big fans like us that goes a lot!

Go ahead, sing the song. I know y'all want to! :rolleyes1

We ate off property for the first time when we went in February. I don't know if you've ever heard of it, or have eaten there, but there's a Logan's Roadhouse not too far from property that's really good. The one here at home is my favorite, so when I found out there was one near Disney, we had to try it! Just thought I'd mention it in case y'all were looking for any new off-property places!:)

It's a small world afterall...It's a small world after all....It's a small world after alllll, it's a small, small world.

sorry, I will go no further than that. LOL

Oh I'm sure they will! Do you guys take them out to eat at home? We've taken Alex twice now and he seems to enjoy the new atmospheres and bright lights.

Bummer on the potty training strike! Hope he comes around for ya.

LOL I bet you can't! That would be awesome!! I don't get why they don't have changing stations in the men's bathroom!! I mean, what if it's a single dad or the mom just isn't around that day for that outing? What are the guys supposed to do? That is so wrong and sexist! We should complain.

btw, t-rex and rainforest ARE now on the dining plan. We found that out when we were there in December 2009. Or at least, they were then. Maybe they took them back off :confused3

I actually have heard of Logan's Roadhouse. I've never eaten there but my dad has and he said it was really good. Maybe we'll get to try it! Thanks for letting me know :thumbsup2

:rotfl::rotfl: It's a world of laughter, a world of tears... :rolleyes1

We do take the kids out to eat. They're good as long as they're eating :thumbsup2

I don't know why they don't have changing stations in the men's rooms at other places, but I bet they probably do at Disney. I'm sure they'd be there of all places.

T-rex and RFC are on the dining plan?! I heard a few years ago that it wasn't, so I just assumed it still wasn't. That's cool if it is. Wouldn't help us any though, since it'd be quick service dining if we got it. We're cheapskates :rotfl2:

They better have changing tables in the men's room. I really don't want that to be used as an excuse for me to be changing all the diapers....

Yep, talking about Disney. Thanks for the info.

Yep, talking about Disney. Thanks for the info.

the ones at disney werent your normal looking changing tables that came out of the wall, the hard plastic type.

most seemed to have them towards the front of the restroom, and they were like little 3 foot by 3 foot cut outs that had a lip on the front so they didnt roll out that way, where you could change them on, seemed a little more private since it was in a cut out in the wall, and the sides were enclosed with solid wall, so you were in the opening and shielding the baby from everyone else walking by.

hope that makes sense?

Makes total sense... Again, thanks for the info. :goodvibes

I finally got a chance to work on some bows this weekend. Let me know what y'all think! The lighting sucks so the pink flower look orange, but you get the idea.

This one is my favorite! I was thinking of selling them, do you think they'd sell? (I'm going to make the red bow smaller. I didn't have any thinner ribbon but I bought some Saturday.)

I'm going to make more once the trip gets closer and I have a better idea of what she'll be wearing. I want to make some regular black and red ones to match Mickey and Minnie. I feel an addiction starting right now and it's scary!! :lmao:

Those are beautiful! I think you could totally sell them on Etsy. Great job!

Yeah for the ticker...mine looks very similar :)

Cute bows, I don't have to worry about bows, only for myself, :rotfl:

You did a good job with the bows, I think they'd totally sell! I love the first one, very Minnie-esque! :)
