DAS Return Time/FP Same Attraction?

Can you get a return time for the same attraction that you have a FP scheduled for? (example: you have a 3:00 FP for 7DMT - but it's currently 10 a.m., you're in the 7DMT area, and you'd like to obtain a DAS return time)?

Yes, there is no rule saying you can't get a DAS return time for an attraction that you have a FP scheduled for. DAS return times are available for any attraction that has both standby and FP lines.

DAS works best used with Fastpass Plus and using them on the same attraction is not an issue.
If the DAS Return Time and the Fastpass return time are both valid when you come to the attraction, you want to make sure the one being read by the machine is the one that you plan to use.
This may be important because Fastpass has a window of time to use it and DAS Return Times have a beginning time, but usually have an end time of park closing (shows may have a window because your DAS Return Time is for a specific show).

If you are returning for a DAS Return Time, the person with the DAS scans their Magicband or park ticket first. The Mickey head will glow blue, which alerts the CM to look at the guest's picture on the screen. This is to verify that the guest using the DAS is actually the guest the DAS is for. The CM will then clear the display, the Mickey head will glow green and the rest of the group can scan their Magicbands.
If you want to make sure Fastpass is the one being used, someone else in your group should scan their Magicband first.
