DAS return during Early Theme Park Entry - Recent experiences

I have seen conflicting reports on whether or not you can get a DAS return time during ETPE. I think originally the answer was no, but then I've read reports of people saying they were abke to as soon as wait times started posting in the app which does occur during ETPE. Can anyone with recent experience comment? Thanks.

I have successfully used DAS in MDE to reserve rides during ETPE upon tap in to the park (early March 2022 and before that January 2022).
