How does this online pre-registration wait work. I signed up an hour ago. But I have no idea if anything is happening. I do not know if eventually I will be booted out if I get put off line on my disney experience. Any thoughts?

Just keep on hanging. If it looks like you are disconnected, sign back in and you will be in the same place in the queue.

Waits can be very long depending on when you sign in… my preferred time is 7 AM EDT exactly when they go live. Best time I’ve found is Sunday. Have been done in 30 minutes every time.

Others have waited hours, thought I think the general report is that lately wait times have been less.

I have tried multiple times since Thanksgiving to do this and waited 1, 2, 3 and then finally 4 1/12 hours and never get connected to anyone. I mean how do they expect me to keep my kid around and waiting like that - especially when they have disabilities. This isn't our first time going to Disney so he should already be in the system we have used the DAS before. It's beyond frustrating... Even tried calling and they told me to call at 7am.... well if that was an option great but it's not, we always love Disney as they have been great helping out but it seems it just not the same as it used to be.

DAS expires after 60 days, so no one is ‘already in the system‘ anymore.
You do still have the option of registering at a theme park once you arrive, so don’t have to do the video registration if it’s not working out for you.

I understand that is still an option but if they have a video chat to get it done ahead of time then they need to have a better way to support this option the wait time with no indication of place in line or if its even working - Disney can do better. Also I know the DAS pass expires but Disney has a record of my trips, the dates, the people, our birthday's etc... so they could add a field for DAS for people with permanent disabilities it would save a lot of time for everyone

Even permanent disabilities can change over time. Technology and advances in medical care can change a person's life, etc. I think Disney should continue to ask the questions because otherwise DAS is going to overload the LL system just like GAC overloaded the FP system.

Try first thing on Sunday morning. Be online the minute they open. My son was registered and had his preselections done in 17 minutes 2 Sundays ago.

Yes, call Saturday or Sunday mornings you will almost always get through in less than half an hour. Or just do it when you get into the first park.
