On our last vacation to WDW (in July) we were introduced to the Magic Band linked version of the DAS for MDE. While I was on my app earlier tonight, I noticed that under "My Reservations" there is a section for DAS return times still there. Under this heading, it says "you don't have any disability access return times."

Because we all still have this heading on our MDE, and have the same magic bands as the last trip, do you think this means that we will still have to go to guest relations to reactivate something? Or since it's all still there, do you think that we just go get return times on our next trip?

Since it has been more than 60 days since your last visit, you will need to stop at Guest Relations to renew your DAS. DAS is valid for 60 days. It's my understanding that the bit on MDE about DAS return times shows even for people without a DAS (and it's always empty for them).

Enjoy your vacation!

lanejudy is correct - the DAS 'linking' is for a maximum of 60 days. Since you were last there in July, it's been more than 60 days. The file stays in the Disney computer, but you will need to go to a Guest Relations in one of the parks to get it re-linked to Magicbands.

The message under "my plans" that says there are no DAS Return Times means only that. I don't know if it is showing up on everyone's MDE, just that many people have seen that same message. (including people who have never had DAS).
It won't change in any way after your DAS is re-linked to your Magicband. The only thing that will happen is that when you have gotten a DAS Return Time for something, that time will show up until you have used it.

I have never had a DAS, nor been linked to anyone that has had one, but I have the heading on my MDE app, too. I think it's just a standard part of the app and does not mean that your DAS is "active."

Same as PP. The DAS section shows on MDE even though I've never traveled with a DAS holder in my party. It is just easier to code it for everyone than it is turn only show it when it is active.
