No one can say whether or not a
DAS would help or would be issued. To request DAS, go to Guest Relations in any of the theme parks and be ready to explain what issues you have that prevent waiting in the regular line.
There is a thread about DAS pinned near the top of this board. The first post is up to date- the rest is from even DAS first began, so no need to read more than the first dose.
It’s important to know what DAS does and doesn’t do, so you can plan.
- it doesn’t shorten the wait, just allows waiting outside of the regular line
- it doesn’t provide a place to sit in line, so if that is needed, you need to have a mobility device (DAS is not needed to use a mobility device like wheelchair/
ECV/rollator in line)
- in many lines it doesn’t shorten the walk (many Fastpass lines are parallel to the regular line)
- it doesn’t provide immediate access; guests still wait and will/may still have a wait when returning to use their DAS Return Time.
- DAS can be used with Fastpasses and actually works best along with Fastpasses.
