DAS in the 3 hour EEMH?

Once the Star Wars Land opens it will be very crowded in that area. The rest of the park...maybe not so much

My ASD/ADHD family are super early risers and looking forward to the 6am opens at Hollywood Studios.

I’ve noticed a few posters mentioning being there an hour before that - will it still be so crowded / lines still be really long at 6am?

My understanding is you can only use DAS during FP hours, so there will be no FP or DAS at 6-9am at Hollywood studios.

I don’t think my family could cope with the crush and pressure of rope drop, if we show up at 6/6:15 to avoid that do you think we will be very disadvantaged?

I think if your family member requires a DAS to be able to enjoy Disney World, then going during the "Extra, Extra Magic Hours" events may be uncomfortable for them.

If you think objectively about the level of excitement that those crowds are going to have (and they will be there exclusively for 1 thing - Galaxy's Edge) I believe that anyone who can't keep up with the flow of the crowd, and who doesn't have the ability to line up for (potentially) hours to wait for a ride will be, at best, miserable.

I'm glad to see that Disney has learned from the opening at Pandora and Toy Story Land. Personally, I know that I probably will not see the inside of any ride at Galaxy's Edge for at least 6 months, possibly more. I'm not even sure that just going in to look at everything will even be do-able for a while.

SWGE will be very crowded even at 6 AM. there should be ( there was for pandora and TSL) DAS return time for EMH. I can see Disney doing the same thing. If you really really have to see the land I would go at 6 AM ( really earlier then that) get on and get out and go to another park. I will be down opening day ( I have no clue what I am thinking) and can try and let you know what every I can. On how things are going.

I think as long as you avoid SWGE, you'll be OK. People get to the parks NOW 30-60 minutes before Rope Drop/Extra magic hours. With the craziness of SWGE expected, I imagine 60 minutes before will be the norm.

At least it's not opening day! I was already reading people planning on camping out basically when DHS closes the night before. There has been speculation that even arriving at 3 in the morning may be too late (DHS opens at 6 am for ALL guests - not just resort guests - the first couple of days).
