Hi all! It's been a long time since I've been on here. :) My family and I are finally planning another Disney trip for next month at the Disneyland parks. My mom and I both have disabling conditions. Mine is more severe and complex, so we've requested the DAS for me in the past. I've been approved every time, though it has been progressively more difficult:/ Although we don't have developmental disabilities, we feel like we have legitimate need for the service.

I know rules are changing for Disneyland on June 18. We will be in Anaheim July 15-19 (with a break day in the middle). If I do a virtual conversation with a CM say on June 16 or 17 (so before the rule change) and get approved, will we be able to use the DAS for the whole trip? Or does it expire exactly 30 days later? We were looking at doing a 4-day pass but might do a 3-day plus a single day park hopper on the last day so that we can get any rides we missed at both parks. It's so hard having to make reservations for specific parks in advance now. That's a new thing for us. Would the DAS be able to be applied to that single day ticket on the 19th also -- or no because it's a separate ticket and more than 30 days later? Thank you in advance! :)

The third sticky at the top of the disABILITIES forum describes the changes so you might find your answer there. If not, there is a very lengthy thread of almost 400 pages where you could ask and I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question.

Regarding length of tickets. Have you compared the price of a 4 day ticket with the prices of a 3 day single park and additional 1 day hopper or the cost of adding a 4th day and the hopper to the 3 day ticket.

Adding hopper to a multiday ticket is a flat price of $70 for the length of the ticket regardless of when you add it - first day, second day or last day.

I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure a one day hopper is more than adding a 4th day + hopper to a 3 day ticket (must be added before the end of park day when you use the third day of your 3 day ticket).

At DLR the DAS is attached to the ticket. If you have both tickets when you pre-register you should be fine. If you add the 4th day/extra ticket after you pre-register you may need to reconnect to get the DAS to cover the full visit.
