DAS couple questions for new system

That’s super interesting! Whenever there isn’t an official wait time, automatic access is granted… so, it seems the app isn’t recognizing early hour wait times (which are usually pretty inflated anyway) and that’s why it’s allowing immediate access ?? Time will tell if that continues or not.

Yeah, EPCOT was the only time we noticed, as every other time the wait times were shot enough to not notice.

The DAS worked extremely well for us this trip, unlike Genie+. Had no glitches at all getting and monitoring return times using the MDE app, including park hopping. Access to DAS selections was instantaneous once my son scanned into the park. it’s very nice of them to make the return time 10 minutes less than the current wait time. In between those 60-80 minute return times we would often wait for another ride. I was also really proud of my son for keeping his KN95 mask on in lines all day despite sensory issues (better than many of the neurotypical appearing guests…).

We had one issue with the DAS today where we couldn't book Ratatouille on the app, went to the attraction and they put it on and took some time off the wait for the inconvenience, which was some nice pixie dust, as really all they needed to do was put it on the app.

It’s great that the DAS worked so well for you. They do that with the 10 mins less to make up for having to wait in the lightning lane after waiting the posted wait time. Awesome job for son with his mask! I bet that was hard.
