DAS at Disneyland in December

I'm heading to Disneyland for a week in December. We will be there over the entire second week and I'm wondering about crowd levels/wait times for this time of year. This is only my second visit to Disneyland, my first was this past February as part of the Adventures By Disney Southern California Backstage Magic trip so I had very little free time at Disneyland and had no need for a DAS as we received a number of fastpasses each day. Whenever I visit WDW in Orlando I always get the DAS as I have trouble standing in lines that are longer than 20-25 minutes in length as my back will lock up and I won't be able to walk. I don't want an ECV as that only makes my back worse and I really don't need one to get around comfortably. Not knowing what the crowd situation/wait times are like in Disneyland in December is making it hard to determine whether or not I will need the DAS for my trip. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The crowds may not be so bad during midweek as kids are still in school. Weekends will be worse since lots of locals want to see the Christmas decorations. Not sure if GR will give you DAS as your needs appear to be mobilty-related, but if WDW gives you one, then maybe DL will too.

We will be hitting the parks Monday to Friday, arriving and departing on the weekends.

My issue is only mobility related in that if I'm left standing in a slow moving line, my back will lock. An ECV/Wheelchair will not aid me in my issues as it only makes the situation worse and my back lock a lot sooner.
