I’m so sorry that your family is struggling. In a case like this it may also make sense to not rely on Disney transportation, as getting 2 scooters on a bus is always going to be a challenge.
That is the only way they were going to be able to make the trip. They wanted one trip to Disney with the youngest grandkids, grandparents were paying for the trip. We stayed onsite to make it easier, get early lightning lane access. Utilize transportation so we could split up.

I wasn’t criticizing the decision to have 2 scooters. But was just suggesting that if you are trying to arrive for rope drop that a ride share, own car, or Minnie van might have made that easier. Alternatively you need to be in line before the buses start running just to be safe.

Yep they just told us we could leave queues and return.
So they wouldn’t let you use your expired LLs? Just want to make sure I’m understanding. I know in some situations people have talked to a blue umbrella CM or ride CM if they were past the window and they would still allow it

I should ask. Are you still there? What about you and grandkids waiting in standby and mom and dad waiting outside the queue, then meeting up with you through the LL when you get to the merge point? Explain to the ride CM that mom and dad can’t go through the queue and sit in the heat that long and are going to wait in a cooler spot then rejoin you.

Dad was not able to enter a park again, we had 3 more days. Of course Mom would not go, at least they refunded our lightning individual/multipasses for them.

Dad was not able to enter a park again, way to weak.

Did not matter after his event my parents never went back to a park. Dad was too weak, he had been active and has been working a part time job to keep him active. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 months ago. I would have gladly paid for a lightning pass that was not locked into the 1 hour timeframes. They denied us first day of trip at haunted mansion when we were 45 minutes late.

Ok to delete - was a test post as I was having technical issues with this three.

Multipass LL’s are still good to use hours after they expire.

Is anyone else having issues seeing new posts? I keep getting notifications of posts on this board but I go to look and the latest posts I can see are from Thursday. It's super weird.

I haven't gotten email notifications for months... even though I have WATCH THIS THREAD AND RECEIVE EMAILS on everything I watch. Used to work, then it didn't... no clue why. I go out and check several times a day for new posts.

A MPLL has a 60 minute grace period, and often accepted after that too. So being declined after 45 minutes doesn’t make sense ..it would still go green. Even if it goes Blue because you are very late, a CM may let you through at their discretion.

I have had DAS before and under the new guidelines it didn't seem like I would be able to get it, but I really just wanted to talk to someone about it. The last time I had it was in May just a few days before the changes took place.

Took about 10 minutes to log on and I just spoke to the most lovely cast member and she let me talk and tell my reasons for why I feel I need it. While I feel my condition is something that benefits from the DAS pass, I have a hard time defending myself and my needs. I was pleasantly surprised that I was approved and am very thankful. She then said it would be good for 240 days. My upcoming trip is a solo trip but she said that if I did need to add anyone on for future trips, that I would be able to do so by contacting them and adding them on.

Same...plus, there was something weird with the ads on the right side of the screen, so the posts were so narrow on the left they were basically unreadable.
Yep that happened to me too. I just thought I hit the wrong button or something like that:) Glad to hear it wasn't Me.

Just a heads up. This past July, my traveling friend and I both rented scooters and rarely had a problem getting on the same bus. Maybe because we stayed at BWI and it was the first stop? 🤷🏽‍♀️

I've had DAS in the past for Diabetes, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get it for my trip next year due to the changes.

If not, I'm planning on purchasing LLMP. My question is, in my last trip, I was able to VQ for Guardians and Tron, then go to the LL upon arrival due to DAS. If I purchase LLMP, this won't be the case, correct? I'll have to purchase an individual LL for it to bypass the queue and go to the LL?

Tron no longer has a virtual queue, so it will be an ILL no matter what or wait in the standby line. Guardians will still be a virtual queue...technically you would have to purchase ILL to get into that line.
