We were just in Disney in June and the CM who synced it up to my MB said it would be good for 6 months. My DS11 has the opportunity to participate in a national convention being held in Orlando Columbus weekend. After the convention is over I was thinking about trying to get tickets for the MNSSHP one evening during the week. Is the DAS used just the same as during regular park hours?

No, sorry. There are no Fastpasses issued during the party, so no way to get a return time. The queues are usualyl much shorter than during regular park hours for the rides. Meet and greets (many of which normally do not offer the use of DAS) are typically much longer because of all the special characters/costumes etc.

No. Been doing parties for 10 years. The passes have never been usable during parties. But honestly the lines are very do-able for the most part. With the limited number of guests and many doing Character Meets, special shows, trick or treat and parades it reduces the lines considerably.

Note that you can get in the MK with the Party ticket at 4 pm and you can use the DAS during those 3 hours from 4-7. And it gives you 3 more hours in the parks.

And I think CM misspoke, it is 60 days depending on your ticket.

From Disney -
"DAS is good for up to 60 days, based on ticket entitlement.* Once the service has elapsed, it is no longer valid and you will need to return to Guest Relations. *Annual Passholders can obtain DAS for up to 60 days."

many people on here say you can not use a DAS for EMH I have both morning and night I have asked CM if the DAS can be used the parties and I have been told yes. with that said sometimes CM will say things that are not true so I will be going and if I find something I can not do I will ask if the CM can help. often times if they know you need help they will help you out if not I will still have a good time I would go and have a good time just know you maybe able to get some help it may not be the same as with the DAS in normal hours of the park
